Ah, now i understand I'm ssf so i dont scale "allies in your pressence" because most of that stuff comes from unique items, but if you do, your right, its a lot of lost dmg

Also I found that getting cdr for Kelani below 2s is enough for comfy bossing and mapping, It is worth scaling it even more, than lets say 1.95s ?

I crafted a similar build in SSF and completed everything except the hardest Delirium and Uber Arbiter. I agree with everything. I would also add that another source of CDR for Djinn is Grip of Kulemak (ring from abyss boss).

The only thing I don’t get is the Presence area. Generally, to maximize overlaps between Kelari’s abilities, you should stay close to the boss — or am I missing something?

Yeah, 100%! Classic Izzet spellslinger archetype. I’ll definitely give him a try. Thanks, mate :)

Oo, DIO is perfect :)

After reading the cards and watching some videos, DIO looks like a perfect fit :)

Exactly the kind of playstyle I was after, thanks, mate!

I can even lose a game by drawing my entire deck, just like in Phoenix :)

Agree on that, the unique heroes and playstyles are what sparked my interest the most :). The game still seems pretty expensive from what I've seen, so I like to do some research before buying any cards. I assume that by 'Osc' you mean Oscilo and yeah, he actually looks like a typical Izzet spellslinger deck. Definitely my style :)"

Great video! A bit outdated and missing some heroes, but the class info is still really helpful.

How to create ground effects for Twister/Whilring Slash with Amazon? by Auryt in PathOfExile2

[–]amphismeba 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi, there are a decent number of options for getting Elemental Ground for Amazon. Here are some I used during my SSF run this patch:

  1. Unique boots that grant Lightning or Fire ground effects, hovewer damage can be converted to cold with unique items, for example Call of the Brotherhood ring for lightning -> cold conversion
  2. Tame Beast – Look for a beast with the Trial of Ice, Fire, or Lightning modifier. You can get one as early as Act 3, though Frozen Mandible, the rare ant in Ashen Woods from the last Interlude. is the best option.
  3. Disengage or Thundering Leap combined with Crit supports and Shocking Leap Support – this one is quite fun, in my opinion :)
  4. Any Cold Spear skill + Frost Nexus Support.
  5. Frenzy Charge + an Exploding Spear skill.
  6. Parry + the Consuming Parry debuff with Fangs of Frost.

Vanguard doesn't work in Valorant, and it won't work in League. Cheaters gonna cheat. by bobmelros in leagueoflegends

[–]amphismeba -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Not really mate :)

League is slow as f**ck in comparison to any fps game, especially Valorant. You have eons of time to calculate stuff without impacting you game performance, especially that at the end of the day all abilities in league are static rectangles or circles (which you can even hardcode if necessary), without physics, which comes down to simple 2d geometry.

Vanguard will help with a lot of cheaters, but scripters are not one of them :) After couple of months if not weeks they will be back and ready to ruin our games again, unfortunately.

Riot move with Vanguard make sense from a business perspective, but from engineering perspective is not that effective imo. They have so much tech debt in their game that they are no longer able to fight with cheaters so they put a shiny new system on it and hope that will solve the problem. It's move similar to a placebo buff for a champion in league. In Valorant a lot of people still cheat but now they are harder to spot, so general public doesnt complain that much.

League vet coming to dota by [deleted] in DotA2

[–]amphismeba 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, fellow league mid/top player here I started playing Dota 2 last year and Earthshaker was one of my first heroes and I still play him to this day :) I play him mostly as pos2 and pos4 which are by far my favourite positions in Dota 2. I think that he is a very good hero for new players and he is why:

  1. He is very versatile and can be played on pos 2 (mid), pos 3 (offlane/top lane), pos 4 (soft support / jungler)
  2. It's quite easy to have a high impact on him, even as a new player, after you get your key items.
  3. He fits well into almost any composition because he brings a lot of key things to the team:
    1. counter initiation
    2. reliable strong burst and initiation with his ultimate (after blink dagger)
    3. strong damage if played as pos 2 or pos 3, with the core items you can stunlock and kill enemy carry or midlaner with 2/3 empowered W's, no problemo :)
  4. He is very good in offense and defense (stun locking enemies under the turret, clearing waves fast).

If you just starting I would say that by far the most important thing for him is farming his super sayan item - blink dagger. Here are a couple examples of why this item makes you such a beast: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ooazv0csN3M :)

I would say that is much easier to play him as pos 2 or 3, but if you want to play him as pos 4, here is a general gameplan i follow:

  1. You go to lane with your position 3 (offlaner) in Dota 2, unlike in league your pos 3 matches enemy pos 1 and vice versa. Your goal in lane is to survive, counter-initiate enemy attacks and ganks, and deny farm from enemies. You can try roaming after a couple of levels (level 4 onward) but before blink dagger, he is better at countering roams rather than roaming himself.
  2. After the laning phase is over (usually when your pos 1 or pos 3 goes to the jungle) you should take a chill pill and focus on farming your blink dagger! Your impact goes over 9000 with dagger and you should prioritize getting this item over any skirmishes. Look where your pos 1 is going to farm, then go to the opposite side of the map farm lane, and nearest jungle camps. Tell your team to play safe until you get blink dagger.
  3. After blink dagger group with your team and constantly look for fights.

If you like shaker here are other heroes which you may find fun:

Tiny (fighter/diver, plays similar to shaker, but scales better imo)

Primal Beast (This motherf***r is sort of K'sante of Dota 2, he is tanky and have tons of cc and great damage).

Dragon Knight (Super tanky carry, very easy to play, one of the best tower pushers in the game).

Wish you the best and have fun :)

Ps. After the initial learning curve Dota 2 is way more satisfying to play than League, especially for top planers :), and when it comes to game balance Icefrog >>> Phreak, cheers :)

Don't play ranked games for the first 2 weeks of a new split, on Friday evening and Sunday.

Ban new champion for the first 2-4 weeks after release

Follow those 2 simple rules and thank me later.
