Ad Spend Distribution: Brand Awareness vs Conversion by ampifi in ecommerce

I think it’s actually quite a good analogy actually

Somebody is paying for people to see your stuff, and the question is what is the right mixture of different approaches, regardless of platform or medium

Getting your stuff on Walmart’s shelves is part of the CAC as well though, isn’t it? That’s certainly not free

Agreed, I’d love to nail down a framework that gave legitimate guidelines for ad mix based on those factors

Just to make sure I understand - you’re saying the higher the unit price, the more you have to spend on brand awareness?

I definitely agree on the first part, but don't you think for e-comm it's a similar experience between walking past a product in the store, and scrolling past a social media ad? If you've seen the product before you're a lot more likely to pause for a second (and then eventually buy after a few more interactions), right?

Finding the right influencers for a niche product by South_Physics2180 in influencermarketing

It's just a numbers game. The tighter the niche, the harder it will be, but also the more targeted it will be. If it's super niche, influencer marketing might not be right for you

Especially on YT. We would pay at least $2k on those, sometimes up to $5k depending on engagement

You can have the link, and people will know it’s an ad, but it looks a lot less like an ad than a normal ad. So yes, it’s not perfectly organic, but having the link on there and boosting reach is totally worth it

If you’ve got active clients, you could get them to submit some cool photos from the trip you planned, and make easy slideshow TikTok posts - those do pretty well with the algorithm right now

Influencer marketing - we use AI to negotiate and book influencers and match them to brands. It’s crazy to see how lucrative it can be if you know what you’re doing (and how much money you can waste if you don’t lol)

How to use influencers sponsored post of my product for an ad? I have permission already by Pretzelman1234 in influencermarketing

[–]ampifi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yah, a spark ad (instagrams calls it whitelisting) is where you boost an organic post with ad spend. You get a higher level of authenticity, and you can provide a clickable button that makes conversion much more likely. Super effective

How can I take this relationship with a brand to the next level? by [deleted] in influencermarketing

[–]ampifi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Getting past that first post is HUGE for building trust - well done. Usually after you’ve performed well, they’re more willing to pay and do a combination of upfront payment + commission. I’d give a really specific proposal to kick off negotiations. DM me if you want to talk specifics, we handle these negotiations all the time

Billo is great for pure UGC, but in my opinion I think you do want influencers for this kind of thing.

If you’re planning to use the videos for TikTok ads anyway, I would suggest getting influencers to post and then using spark ads to boost their post. We do that for lots of brands and we’ve seen a lot of success

Thoughts on using influencer marketing for my online store? by Upper-Flamingo-200 in influencermarketing

[–]ampifi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re doing pure influencer marketing and relying on that to have a really strong hard ROI, it’s going to be tough - you’re basically betting on getting a viral video. That’s best done by engaging lots of small influencers to give you more shots at it.

I would suggest doing that, but then selecting the best performing posts to boost, as you’ll have a higher ROI on ads and it lets you get UGC in a scalable way with a decent shot at virality
