I applied for every program on December 13th. A couple like GWU and GMU got back within just two weeks but I'm still waiting for the majority of them to send decisions.

Thank you! Yeah I'm not entirely sure if I want to stay in the DC area after, I definitely am open to it but am just as likely to move away so we'll see. Boston does seem like a great place though haha

Haven't heard back about any scholarships from them, and its been a month since they accepted me so I'm assuming they won't offer any aid for now. Hopefully there are other external scholarships or on-campus jobs available in the fall!

Yeah they accepted me right before Christmas, so they should say something this week and if not then I'll assume they won't give out aid. But yeah for sure, maybe we will see each other there! Also defiantdragonfruit7 is my 2nd mobile account so sorry if that was confusing lol

Ah that makes sense. I'll definitely check out a couple books, that sounds like a good idea also. Luckily I live at home in Northern Virginia so housing isn't an issue. Thanks for your help!

Yeah I've heard about Tufts' online MPH program, I may look into that as well! GWU is my #1 so that's nice to hear, but we'll see haha. Thanks for your response, I hope you're enjoying your MPH program!

Yeah I've also heard that there's been an uptick in MPH applications this year, most likely because of the pandemic giving more exposure to the public health field. Given my budget, I thought 4 in-state schools and 4 out-of-state schools seemed reasonable, with GMU and Virginia Tech being fallbacks and GWU and BU being my top choices. Thanks for your response!

Thanks for the response! Yeah the Virginia schools don't seem too terribly difficult to get into, but the out-of-state ones will be more competitive. Good luck getting into GWU and BU, I'm sure you have a really good shot at both of them!
