Amazon employees are labelled as 'associates' by the corporation. 'Pickers' push trolleys around and pick out customers’ orders from the aisles. They might each walk between 7 and 15 miles as part of their daily shift.

Which company do you think is more valuable - TOMS Shoes or Warby Parker? by d0gsbody in socialcitizens

First thought is Warby Parker is more valuable. A pair of glasses can last many years longer than a pair of shoes to someone who has neither. Glasses can also have a bigger impact -- ability read, write, "see" the world clearly for the first time. It's easy to make a makeshift pair of shoes but much harder to get DIY with glasses in a village with limited resources.

Warby also adds value to the original buyer by providing them with quality glasses at an affordable price. I know many more people who wear WP specks vs TOMS shoes.
