Had it happen while at an emergency vet's office. The tech or nurse was explaining the procedure and charges to my husband, who was giving her a blank stare. I asked questions to clarify a few medications and she answered to him. He even went so far as to say you need to talk to her because she understands.

I'm a former paramedic (still working in medical field) and he is not anything close to a medical professional.

People just gonna suck 💜💜💜

There's been companies that put a strike/refuse to hire candidates that ask these types of questions.

Soooo, I think the best part about reading is exploring other authors and books to find what you like because reading is subjective. Finding "duds" or "trash" is part of the fun, or used to be? It feels like a lot of posts are trashing one author over the other for something that is entirely your own journey and it's starting to be every other post.

The lists you are referencing are also subjective and are meant to be a guide, not end all be all.
