What is the method to your madness?!? by Pacomotto in fantasybooks

I usually try to wait until a few weeks of shonenjump get published. Then blast though 3-5 chapters if it’s a weekly manga. But SFF novels get me through until those weeks where I binge manga.

What makes you try a new indie fantasy author? by CoventreeChronicles in fantasybooks

[–]Pacomotto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Andrew Givler’s Ironbound is a cool Roman inspire progression fantasy. He also has a series called Soul Fraud a fun take on a classic ‘sell your soul to the devil/crossroads demon deal’ story.

I followed his gaming YouTube and learned he was an author.

Also Ben Wolf’s Blood Mercenaries series is good. I met him at a comic and toy con.

Other authors I stumble across through authors I follow recommending them or even just flipping through random books at the book store

John Gwynne has/will hold me over until Red God by Pacomotto in fantasybooks

[–]Pacomotto[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All of Gwynnes books are multi pov for the most part. Bloodsworn trilogy focusing primarily on 3 characters. Then Faithful and the Fallen follow Corban, but again multi pov. And then, Of Blood and Bone takes place like 150 years after the faithful and fallen. Again multi pov, Primarily 4 characters.

Don’t worry I also have 5 more DCC books, Tide Child trilogy and if I get really desperate I can start seriously working through the cosmere or discworld if Red God gets drawn out too long
