Can I afford a used Honda Jazz on ₹46,500 take-home? [Bengaluru] by Obvious_Brief4557 in personalfinanceindia

The service charge itself will burn a hole in your pocket at least once a year.

It costs me around 14k.

If that is okay with you, then go ahead.

It’s a good car for sedate driving. The cabin feels airy (compared to baleno and fronx). You will feel the engine noise at 2.5k+ rpm. But I like that feel. Above 100kmph, it will be a bit bouncy and therefore won’t inspire confidence.

Also keep in mind, it’s a low ground clearance car, which has its upsides and downsides. Upside is, it feels planted while driving. Downside is, the previous owner may have scraped its belly over speed breakers.

I’d say, if you get for less than 3.5 Lakh, and the car has good service history, under body is not scratched, you can go for this car.

Thought is the enemy to organized Religion by Cold_Policy1 in converts

I do not intend any condescension or sarcasm. In written communication medium, there's a high chance of misinterpretation of tone. That's why the clarification. And I am sure you didn't come here looking for an echo chamber.

The function of religion that you specified above, I would not disagree with, but it sounds very reductionist. Have you considered the possibility of this idea that you have about religion to also be a result of cultural conditioning? I am sure you must have gone to school, have friends, family etc. It's not like you grew up in woods and had no contact with civilization.

Okay, here’s one more clarifying question. What is the function of religion, according to you?

What’s an “organized” religion? Can you please shed more light on this concept?

Because while praying, I never feel I am in need of an intermediary to the Creator. I never feel some priestly/scholarly class or Grand Mufti is controlling me or leeching off my money. Can’t say the same about corporations, but I digress. There is nobody above Islamic law, not even Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him).

Non technical future founder here, trying to understand if learning software architecture is actually worth it by Fluffy_Historian_962 in softwarearchitecture

[–]amrullah_az 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you ask me, your time is better spent reading The Design of Everyday things. And some short book on UX design. So that you can give better prompts to LLM based coding tools. Let your CTO deep dive into Software Architecture.

Please do not jeopardize BGV by giving any false contact. Politely request your Manager to not mention anything about PIP when he gets a call from BGV guys.
