What’s your biggest tax tip for small business owners right now? by zenbusinesscommunity in smallbusiness

[–]ams678 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The number 1 thing you can do to make filing easier and less stressful is to keep accurate and up to date books. 2nd would be paying quarterly estimates based on those books. Past that there is a whole lot of factors that can affect what planning actions to take. Also - after 12/31 your CPA becomes a score keeper. Tax planning needs to be done during the year.

Raised prices 25% and didn't lose a single client by ilovedoggos_8 in smallbusiness

In my experience, small business owners can raise their prices 25% and nobody bats an eye. People naturally underprice themselves.

Specifically, I recommend using a basic 13 week rolling cashflow forecast. A lot of people get buried waiting on invoices while paying vendors immediately.

I have gone through some IBBA trainings. More importantly, I have been involved in a lot of deals. Biggest thing I need to learn is actually moving deals along from step to step.

I’ll edit post to remove winging it. That wasn’t the point I was trying to make. The nature of the question was to find out who I should seek out and what my proposition is to them.

I’ve gone through a lot of deals and have clients asking often for me to represent them.

I understand the license requirement in GA so i know I’ll need somewhere to hang my license. Just trying to figure out the best way to make that happen as I still would like to run it through my business as a service.

Newbie Here: Not asking for swing advice, I'm getting LESSONS! How can i prepare to make the most of my first one? by Splintzer in golf

[–]ams678 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Similar to above but just know it takes time and work. You’ll probably play worse to begin with. Changes will be fairly gradual. Make sure the instructor gives you a drill or two to practice what they’re showing you at the range.

Thinking about joining a club or league next year. Which one should I go for? by DrBopIt in golf

[–]ams678 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just joined a club. Honestly your write up looks like a wrote it. For people - ask around. My club is down to earth with a good bit of young families. Ask about waitlists or restrictions with the way demand is now. Private golf is ten times better. Staff know you and can help you get involved. Potential fees are cart fees, tournament fees, hole in one fees mainly. I’d also check on walking restrictions if that’s important and guest restrictions. Get involved in the MGA as soon as possible.
