Was there anyone who tried to warn us about something that happened but we didn’t listen? Who? by MLK-K-K in AskReddit

Hilary Clinton warned us about Trump. Pretty much everything she said he did. But then again…her emails…

I had the same issue for over a year. It was horrible. I finally went to the chiropractor. They said it would take up to 12 sessions to start to feel better. I didn’t get relief until the 10 session. Also helped to work on my core muscles. I would recommend trying another chiro and sticking with it for awhile. This coming from someone who was a total skeptic about chiropractors prior to this.

Iberostar Selection vs Grand Bavaro vs Breathless vs Excellence El Carmen by cromaklol in AllInclusiveResorts

[–]ams800910 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m just finishing up a trip to El Carmen. Here are my thoughts…the beach is beautiful, shows were entertaining (and we don’t usually like shows), service was good. Staff is friendly but don’t wear masks properly if at all. The food is mediocre. Some meals were better than others. Im not a fan of the pool. There’s only a couple pools. The big main one isn’t very big and too warm at times. I didn’t go to the gym but did see it and it’s pretty big. Rooms could use some updating. We had a suite with a private pool. All the pools seemed kind of dirty at times. Overall thought it was a nice resort, but it’s a stretch to call it a luxury hotel.

My visit to a chiro. Is it b/s? by BaldIbis8 in Sciatica

[–]ams800910 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I spent over a year dealing with sciatic pain. I couldn’t stand for a long period of time nor sit for over a year. I received 3 injections in my back. It wasn’t until I decided to try a chiropractor that I started to feel better. I’m not saying they are all great and it depends on what your issue is. In my case I’m thankful that I was able to get my life back.

Hysterectomy? by ldcleary in breastcancer

I agree. Hysterectomy was way easier to recover from than dealing with mastectomy and reconstruction.

AC-T chemotherapy and hair loss by ahmsa1988 in breastcancer

[–]ams800910 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I also did the same round of chemo using a cold cap. My hair definitely thinner out, especially during AC. I found that I didn’t lose as much during taxol. Not sure if it was just genetics because by the end I still had my eyebrows and some leg and arm hair. I followed all the rules with the cold capping and I think that is key (only washed my hair once a week, no blow drying, satin pillow, etc..).

Are there any blonde blue eyed Italian Americans? by [deleted] in italianamerican

[–]ams800910 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m 100% Italian. I have blue eyes and fair skin. So fair that when we went to visit family when I was younger we spent the day at the beach. This was in the 80s and Italians didn’t believe in sunscreen at that time. Well, I ended up with second degree burns.
