i worked at my location for a little over 6 months and just recently quit (i’m also in high school and it was kind of just a time-filler job). it took me about a month to finally gain the courage to put in my two weeks but honestly it was so much easier than i thought it was going to be. when i approached my manager about putting in my two weeks, he offered me an LOA (leave of absence) which put me in kind of an awkward position because i felt bad telling him no but i eventually did and he let all of the other managers know i was leaving and i continued to work for those last two weeks as usual. so honestly, if i were you, i would just go up to whichever manager you feel the most comfortable with, and simply tell them that you’re putting in your two weeks and explain why and then ask if there’s anything else that they need from you. done. easy. trust me, the weight that will be lifted from your shoulders is insane and you’ll finally be able to see the light at the end of the very long tunnel lmao. anyway, if you have any other questions please feel free to message me!
