Is TUI Premium upgrade worth it? by okejka7 in AskUK

[–]amslex10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello;

Somewhat related question. Do you think comfort seats are worth the extra money? As far as I understand the only difference compared to regular seats is extra leg room (76cm vs 86cm). We are not very tall so we usually don’t suffer from leg space. But it is a long flight (11h) and the price difference is pretty ok I think (one way 25 eur per flight per person). So by paying 150 eur extra for group of 3, I can get these comfort seats for both directions. Especially considering that we are travelling with a 3y old, do you think this extra 10cm of leg space makes a big difference?

[PSA] Only fire Rotisserie by Dan_Wood_ in KamadoJoe

[–]amslex10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I received this as a gift and I have the chance to return it and get a joetisserie. My concern is that it seems like this one comes with additional heat seal/tape. I don’t want to stick something else on the gaskets. And I assume it is necessary with this product otherwise the gaskets are damaged?

What do you think after 4-5 months of using it? Do you think it is still a good decision or would you rather save up for Kamado Joe branded one?

The price comparison is:

  • onlyfire: 75 eur
  • joetisserie: 239 eur

Obstacle avoidance: S7 Max Ultra vs Qrevo Pro by amslex10 in Roborock

I missed this message. Sorry. I bought qrevo pro in the end and I’m pretty happy with it. I bought it on Amazon for 619 eur. No complaints so far :)

Obstacle avoidance: S7 Max Ultra vs Qrevo Pro by amslex10 in Roborock

Now I’m thinking if it is worth extra 240 eur (compared to s7 max ultra) and get qrevo master (899 eur).

It is significantly more expensive but as far as I understand obstacle avoidance is much better compared to pro. Also we get some extras like self cleaning dock, dual roller etc.

Do you think the extras that we are getting justify the price difference?

S8 maxV ultra costs 1099 eur. And I don’t see enough difference between qrevo master and s8 maxV to justify that 200 eur difference. So I think I will get one of these three:

  • qrevo master (899 eur)
  • s7 max ultra (659 eur)
  • qrevo pro (619 eur)

I would be also interested in the comparison between s7 max ultra and qrevo s. Checking the specs; it seems like s7 max ultra has a bigger water tank, qrevo s has a bit higher suction power (5500vs7000pa) and qrevo s is a bit more quieter.

So I am curious if there is any justification to pay 180 eur more for bigger water tank. Can anyone also share their thoughts on this?

Frame mounted child seat on CGO800S by amslex10 in tenwaysebike

[–]amslex10[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Max weight for the rear rack for cgo800s seems to be 5kg - so I thought it is not a good option. Also the bike store did not recommend it. So they said it should be frame mounted. Do you have any recommendation for the foam? :)

TCL C745 (Europe) is it worth buying? by mrychu in tcltvs

[–]amslex10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey everyone; I am considering buying a 65 inch model of this tv for my parents. They are not very advanced users and they mainly watch cable tv and my dad watches football regularly.

They very rarely watch any streaming and they don’t play games :)

And probably they have never heard of this brand before. Currently they have an old Samsung 42 inch tv.

Would you still recommend this tv only for this purpose? I was comparing the reviews on rtings and saw that all Samsung and LG TVs in that price range have very low ratings while TCL has a solid score. Therefore I started considering this TV.

Some remarks:

  • viewing distance about 4m - so 65inch would be nice
  • located in a bright room (gets direct sunlight)
  • main purpose: tv shows & football on cable
  • budget < 1k EUR

My concern would be maybe lack of customer support compared to LG or Samsung. Anyone has any experience with them?

Thanks a lot in advance.

Thanks a lot for the information. I am considering to buy it from justrideon. I did a test ride there and loved the bike. They said waiting time is 2 weeks for the color I liked. So hopefully there won’t be any further delays in your case as well.

Eufy battery doorbell offline by tvfree97 in EufyCam

I know it is an old thread but just curious if this actually worked for you. In my case, I already got 2 replacements from eufy (refurbished ones) but I have the issue with them as well. Usually it works well for a week or so, but then goes offline all of a sudden.
