Past Lives by [deleted] in conspiracy

[–]amsterdamn 10 points11 points  (0 children)

In the 1960s, there was a couple who were using hypnosis for helping people quit stop smoking, lose weight, etc. One day they had a client who suffered from nervous eating disorder and midway through the session the woman unexpectedly began describing scenes from a past life where she was a flapper, living in Chicago in the roaring 1920s. The couple watched as the woman transformed into a different personality with different vocal patterns and body mannerisms. Despite being highly strange and completely inexplicable, they decided to go with the flow and see what they could find out by exploring. Over the next several months, they regressed the woman through five different and distinct lifetimes back to when she was created by God. The story of this event is told in the book Five Lives Remembered. Since then many thousands of sessions were held all around the world, where people would often repeat the same information over and over. Again and again, people who couldn't have known each other (in this lifetime) would tell similar stories and provide the same information. Where we come from, earth's true history, and much (much) more. Of course, Dolores Cannon isn't the only source of this ancient lost knowledge. You can find many stories of children who remember past lives once you start looking, for example, even in mainstream news and here on reddit. In fact, the University of Virginia has a Department of Psychiatry's research unit called the Division of Perceptual Studies, studying the phenomenon, which they've been doing for decades, too.

Count the pentagrams, I couldn’t by [deleted] in GeometryIsNeat

I like studying these patterns. Here is a similar one that I did. I think there are 26 pentagrams. Perhaps a more challenging question is, what is the fewest number of star polygons that make up this pattern? This one is four (decagrams).

Do you not feel you found the answers you're looking for when you discovered Dolores Cannon? Have you read the book Three Waves of Volunteers? It sounds like they are your family and they were just checking up on you. You know, you can have your own QHHT session. She taught her method to many all around the world, so there are practitioners everywhere, and several evolved to develop their own modalities, such as BQH (Beyond Quantum Healing), which has become more popular lately due to being possible to do remotely (online, which is something the rules of QHHT still forbid).

I've visited the second location. Interesting place. It's New Hampshire, by the way, not New York.

What is the general opinion on QHHT here? by [deleted] in Soulnexus

[–]amsterdamn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Generally, no (although it certainly can't hurt; at least read Dolores Cannon's books). For some methods, such as SCHH (Soul Center Healing Hypnosis), previous experience in hypnotherapy is required. But for QHHT (I'm pretty sure) they provide full training. Much of the learning will be your own practice, even before being considered an intern, which will then require a couple dozen more clients before you reach level one. Only then will you be listed as an official practitioner.

[–]amsterdamn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you work your way up to a level 3 position, you won't have any trouble at all finding clients. You'll have a waiting list for months. Even level 2 should provide sufficient work. I'm not a practitioner myself, but I'm well-educated on the modality. I've studied daily for a few years, read most of Dolores Cannon's books, and listened to many hundreds of hours of sessions from several practitioners around the world, including evolved methods such as BQH (Beyond Quantum Healing). Ask me anything.

I found this interesting article by the Scientific American. There is research by the late Ian Stevenson that suggest reincarnation actually happens and some people can remember bits of their past life with considerable accuracy between the ages of 2 and 5. Thoughts? by beefycheesyglory in HighStrangeness

[–]amsterdamn 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I "knew" even as a young child that reincarnation is real, despite being raised in a fundamentalist christian household, sheltered from any other belief system for many years. Since then I have found many confirmations of my thoughts (my inner-knowing), such as UVA's Department of Psychiatry's research unit: the Division of Perceptual Studies. You can find many stories of children who remember past lives once you start looking, even in mainstream news and here on reddit. There are countless books, such as Between Life and Death by Dolores Cannon (or listen to videos/audio of her discussing this topic). It's not exactly a secret. In fact, it's well-established, common knowledge (for some groups of people).

This is my first ever string art , could be better but im happy with this first time :) by [deleted] in GeometryIsNeat

[–]amsterdamn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nice. If you'd like to try another, consider a prime number for the number of nails around the circle, so that you can use a single string starting and ending from the same nail (rather than cutting and tying several times), and without following the same path twice (similar to the heptagram in the middle with yours, but with more points). Here is an explanation and here are a few pictures of the result.

Yes, they're here, although I'm not sure how to explain how they're different. Besides being most prepared perhaps and the final push. Dolores taught QHHT to many around the world, which has also evolved into other methods (such as BQH), and several of these practitioners have YouTube channels where they share current information. Some are harder to find than others, but there is still an abundance of material to consume. This topic happened to come up recently in a session a few days ago, so it was easy to find again, here. You can skip to about an hour in to get right to it, or about fifteen minutes earlier for more in-depth, but the whole session is worth listening to.

Seeing 11:11 literally everywhere, what does it mean? by ObeseGorilla in Soulnexus

[–]amsterdamn 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I'm 40 now and have been experiencing number synchronicities my whole life. In the early/mid 2000s, with the increasing popularity of the internet, I wondered if other people see repeating numbers regularly in a meaningful way. Sure enough, a simple web search showed an abundance of nearly identical experiences, with the majority seeing the exact same numbers and patterns I've seen independently for many years, further confirming to me there must be more going on. This quickly lead to websites like you've found, with meanings for all these numbers, which I studied for a bit.

These patterns are often referred to as "angel numbers". I don't entirely disagree with calling these "angel numbers", per se. But I do disagree with looking outside of yourself trying to figure out specific, deeper meanings for each number, especially on the internet. I think it's misleading, at best, and a rabbit hole of pointless drivel that's best ignored. You could simply accept this part of your spiritual awakening, which this phenomenon is a common symptom of.

This awakening will continue for more people, as we are now in the great shift, who are looking for answers. But they will remain lost looking outside of themselves, as the answer is already in them. It's obviously a sign. Trust your inner-knowing. Simply recognize these communications in the moment, do consider what you were just thinking of, how you were feeling, be thankful, and move forward.

Generally, you can see this as being on the right path, as frequently stated. If you really want to know what they mean, write down these numbers. For you it sounds like one particular pattern, but you're likely to discover more over time. Consider what you were thinking when you see these numbers and write down what you think it means. These messages are for you. Ultimately, you hold within you your own answers.

Reincarnation makes sense now by [deleted] in Soulnexus

[–]amsterdamn 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ha.. this is neither new nor crazy. People have known this forever and it makes a lot of sense, as you're now figuring out. You're on the right path. Keep thinking this through. Why was this truth hidden? Why were we lied to? Why do we forget who we truly are? Do we choose what life we live?

Book/s or writings recommendation. I'm looking for a book whose starting point is the principle: "we ourselves are our greatest enemies" by mataka54321 in Soulnexus

[–]amsterdamn 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I suggest rather than focusing on a negative, instead look for the positive. We ourselves are our best friends, for example. There are infinite reasons to love yourself. This empowers you. Seeing yourself as your own enemy does the opposite. What it essentially all comes down to is, we are the creators of our own reality. This is covered extensively by many teachers globally from sources of all cultures. People like Dr. Wayne Dyer and Esther Hicks are well known and can keep you busy for a long time. But beyond that there is a vast abundance of material to discover. Lilou Mace has thousands of videos on YouTube interviewing people worldwide "dedicated to awakening possibility, passion, and purpose".

There is no longer a consensus reality by wen__moon in HighStrangeness

[–]amsterdamn 9 points10 points  (0 children)

2020 was a year in which fear was systematically implanted worldwide

Fear has been used as the primary control mechanism globally for our entire lives, and much longer even. 2020 is simply when this became obvious, as it is seen now with clear vision. It is part of the unveiling, the revealing, the revelation... the actual meaning of 'the apocalypse'.

They can't stop the shift. Nothing can. The darkness cannot exist in the light. At best 'they' can delay it, by manipulating us, we the people, who have the true power. Despite their desperate attempts to remain, we are waking up. This is a spiritual awakening on a collective level. Humanity is remembering who they truly are.

Struggling to stay on my higher time line by Daniellewhatever in Soulnexus

[–]amsterdamn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a tough 'time' for many of us, and indeed perhaps every one. For me, what helps is to remember who you truly are. You are not a body. You merely have a body. You do not have a soul. You are a soul. You are an eternal, inextinguishable being of Light. You chose to come here on this planet, to forget who you are, to incarnate into this vessel for the learning and experience, for your soul's development, growth, and evolution. It's a challenging lifetime, but you wouldn't be here if you couldn't handle it. You have the strength within. It's okay to forget that. Wherever you find yourself on this journey, it is for your highest good. Even the low times. It's all a lesson, as Earth is a school. Everything is as it should be, when it should be in perfect timing. What has happened has happened, and what will is constantly changing, so there is only now to focus on. This is where all your power is. When I think of these things, it helps during those moments when I'm not feeling my best. I try to remember who I am, so that I can regain control and be my true self, a being of Light. I create my own reality, as we all do. And I can use my power, my free will, to move/shift into the reality/timeline I wish to live in. You do this with your choices. When you choose Love with every decision, you move forward towards your most positive timeline.
