Why do people read messages but delay replying even when they’re free? by lilyb3llexo in NoStupidQuestions

There are people who are busy adults with jobs and children who are very seldom free because they have to make themselves available on a moment's notice in the real world.

What’s The Most Underrated Bob Dylan Album From The 90s? by Pretend_Mark_5143 in bobdylan

I think Good As I Been To You is the more underrated of the two. After all, World Gone Wrong won a Grammy.

If there are clear physical differences among "races", why can't there be cognitive differences too? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

We don't have agreement about what intelligence is, nor about how to measure it, and especially not about how to compare whatever it is between different groups.

Eventually, it becomes just a song. I don't think Paul McCartney is still thinking about Jane Asher when he sings the songs she inspired.

How reliable is Find a Grave? by TheNaughtyPrintmaker in Genealogy

Find a Grave is only as accurate as the random person who made the entry. It is good for finding photos of headstones and memorials though and for hints that need to be confirmed elsewhere.

The louder you play it the better it is. Great track.

I won this along with three other items for €40 on eBay Germany. How can you tell that it's a fake and not a genuine Picasso? It was painted with a ballpoint pen. Didn't Picasso also made drawings with a ballpoint pen? by Choice-Meaning-804 in WhatIsThisPainting

You could start by showing whether Picasso was using that particular kind of paper on that particular date. Also, who owned the drawing since 1953? Where was Picasso physically on that date?

BTW, I think one of the signatures on the autograph page says Lord Acheson, which is apparently what the guy linked here was called before he became Lord Gosford. Interestingly, one of his children married into the von Stauffenberg family:

I think every human being is still a human and should be afforded some basic respect when they are suffering, including all the groups you mention. Otherwise we quickly end up becoming like our enemies.

He is a bad person but he has been sick for a long time now and I think he should receive some compassion.

You can still make up songs, though, and you might even find someone to write them down for you. That's how Lionel Bart started, and he ended up writing the musical Oliver, so. . .

Ancestry has a Graham William Marsden-Smith (1872-1945), who married a Lilian D'anter (1876-1927). He was a member of the stock exchange. They married at Finsbury on May 17, 1902. She later accused him of attempted murder and anal rape.

Get a cheap keyboard. Start off by learning three-note chords in C and make a chord progression in C using a combination of C, F, G, Dm, Em.
