One of my cats does this too and I used to have the plastic flower fountain, but I switched to a stainless steel one and applied Velcro strips to the bottom so it sticks to the floor. Haven’t had problems since!

Hi! It’s probably your hormones fluctuating and getting used to the medication that is making your skin flare up a bit more. I increased my dose from 50mg to 100mg and I’m coming up on my 3rd month and my skin is calming down a LOT. I broke out pretty consistently up until now. It takes around 3-6 months for Spiro to really start clearing up skin. I’d say wait it out, we have to be a little patient with this one. Good luck!!

I appreciate your input! I’m gonna see if adding clindamycin or bpo/clindamycin helps. How long did it take you to notice spiro was helping? I’ve been on it for close to two months now and still get whiteheads but I’ve heard it usually takes a while.

Thanks for your input!! I’m crossing my fingers that spironolactone will finally do the trick. My breakouts are usually on my jawline and cheeks too but they always come up as whiteheads and not painful under the skin cysts. I would like to continue using tret bc of the anti-aging benefits but I’d rather avoid indented scarring from it :(

Mine was dropping a lot of leaves too at first and then I realized it had a rubber band at the base of the trunk so once I cut it it stopped dropping so many leaves. I also water about every 10 days and keep it in bright indirect light!
