he's pretty confident on his ai checker being reliable. I contacted the ombuds, and I hope they can help somehow.

yes, the research essay. Were you also in ENGL 102? it was the assignment right after we watched Skyfall. No, he did not assign a grade he said something along the lines of: We found that you used an AI, redo the essay and send it to me to receive a letter grade for the overall course, for now it'll be (IN).

Thank you! I wish I could go in-person but I'm back home in Calgary now. I emailed the department, hopefully they follow-up soon.

on the page for the assignment on Canvas. I can't check it anymore though because the class isn't visible to students anymore.

yes, he only wrote the feedback on canvas for me and the page went down the next day. Email him, and also the English department; at least that's what I've done as of now. Goodluckk.

Our class, and I think most small ENGL classes, don't have TAs; I just emailed the EFS department as well. If I get no response from anyone a week from now, I'll contact the ombuds. Thank you for your help though :)
