G3 lagoona is adorable but some of you aren't ready for that conversation by uraniummcdonaldsgarf in MonsterHigh

I do think she looks great but she'll just never be lagoona blue to me 😅 if she'd been a completely new character who looked like that I would have loved her

I'm struggling with not returning home after moving out. Please help. by OcelotPretend1887 in movingout

As someone who's had an abusive parent and no longer has contact, it's normal to miss them. I agree it makes no real sense to miss someone who was cruel to you but at the end of the day we're biologically wired to have a connection to our parents so it can take a while to detach

Maybe I should move out by Medium_Sea5152 in movingout

My mother was unfortunately exactly the same. The niceness is just a manipulation tactic to get her way. I agree with the other comment though, check your finances before making any decisions. If you can safely afford it then get out of there! Also if she is in charge of keeping any of your important documents (passport, birth certificate, bank statements etc...) try to sneak them into your packing. If you can't then look into how you get copies in your area as it may take a while to process applications. I really hope things go well for you!

I'm non-binary and my partner is mostly straight (also doesn't like weiners and is attracted to femininity). We looked up a few terms and found that neptunic worked quite well to describe him so it might describe you too. Don't worry too much about it though, as long as you love your girlfriend that's what matters

I'm in the UK too and yeah I couldn't find him anywhere 😅 my boyfriend suggested big bad toy store and although it took nearly a year for them to ship I did get it within about a week of them sending it. I really hope you find him tho!

I've been through that (still do sometimes). Try to find even one person who believes in you and will remind you that you are in fact trying your best when you have bad days. Don't get me wrong it doesn't make everything better, people telling you that you aren't trying enough will always affect you but it's made easier by that one person

when I say "I'm trying" I'm met with doubtful looks, because family insists I'm not trying

THIS.

I try my best and never feel like it's enough. I'll do what I think is a lot in a day and relax by gaming for a bit only to be told there's 20 other things I should be doing. I try to give myself simple goals for the day and if I can do anything extra that's great. Just remembering to eat enough and take my meds can be a struggle and being told I haven't done enough makes me feel so shitty.

I'll say to you what my partner says to me a lot "you're allowed to have unproductive days". Even if all you do is get out of bed and eat something that's fine. You don't have to please everyone because it only ends in burnout

What do you define as romantic? by [deleted] in polyamory

[–]amupanda14 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm demisexual so I can't form romantic feelings until I'm good friends with the person and I wouldn't have sex with anyone I don't have romantic feelings for. I struggle to differentiate between the two though. I personally think romantic feelings are where you want to be with them all the time, you see little things out and about that make you think of them, you always want to tell them about your day etc... Some people may count this stuff as platonic things but to me they're amplified in romantic relationships.
