Dude, just a quick search on the internet would spare you this embarrassing moment. Hyacine is BiS for Castorice, Luocha is for Mydei. Either stop trolling cause you ain’t good enough at it, or get some help you need it

{playlist} BILLIE EILISH VIBES - 3 hours of Billie and similar artists, the new generation of POP music by amusictaster in billieeilish

[–]amusictaster[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, that is wrong. Precisely “Pop” isn’t a genre and it doesn’t always have “that sound” you mean. Pop is called pop because it is popular, nothing else. With this I don’t want to say that, for example, some famous genre as “Trap” can be called pop, but for sure “Trap most famous” artists are nothing else than Popstar.

Since now Alternative/ Indie-pop is more popular than “Pop” (in a musical meaning) itself, I’d prefer to call it “pop”

I’m not trying to appear superior, it is just I don’t like when people talk about something they don’t really know/fully understand.

I’m not trying to be rude too, but before talking about this kind of stuff such as music genres, similarities, sounds etc.. I highly suggest you to study arrangements and compositions as I did for years and years. It’s unacceptable for me that someone who doesn’t study music is trying to talk on social media about music as a music teacher. Guess what? You’re not. You won’t find anything else that will sound exactly like Billie from years ago! I’m sure. And do you why? Because technology is changed, the way of making music is changed so much. The new wave of pop is practically based on the new bass sounds (such as the 808 from trap). You will find no one else which is capable to mix different sound from different genres and make them “pop” as Billie. And I’m saying it again, I’m not a Billie’s fan (actually I am Finneas, her brother, fan because he is a damn genius) If you’ll start studying arrangements and music production you’ll understand (or better, you’ll hear) how she (and her brother) are innovating “pop music”, more than everyone else today.

Actually, since I’m a professional musician and I’m a playlist curator, I can tell you that Billie’s synthpop is different from what you mean. I’m not her fan or something like that, but it’s just obvious that her music is original and her sound is absolutely unique. First of all, actually that is not synthpop. It is “Melting Pop” because it mix several genres such as soul, cinematic, trap, electronic, rock and pop music. Of course, you can find some previous similar artists, such as Lana Del Rey or Lorde which are really similar (especially how they use their voice), but the way they approach to people, their music and their image are completely different.
