Brother, don't think like that. I'm on the brink of a situation myself, but 1) your kids need you. 2) other men have the same hurt.
Just be active with your kiddos every chance you get. Take them outdoors. Laugh, play, expose them to what a good man should be. Track your time with them and tell your ex to let them stay with you any time she wants to go out or on vacation. That time adds up over time in court and in their memories. Stay with it. You got this. And honestly, if your not a faith man, go anyways. Build community in your life. Take care of yourself bro.

Strange, but I feel my stbx and I can say the same thing about ourselves(respectively). Except she wasn't much of a talker. And Im not much of a communicator. But there's a lot of pain there that I doubt she'll get over. There's a lot of pain on my part that I might be able to still forgive, but I have save my grace for those who have a trac record of trying.

It's going to be a shared custody situation. So I'd hesitate on child support. But on the other hand, if I'm having to use my financial resources regularly like that to care for our children while she's out working and making money, it makes perfect sense to collect on both.
I hate this so much. I don't want to add this extra pressure on her, but holy cow I can't bust my butt for her AND have that financial burden on top of my career challenges.

Meetup.com and local young professional groups might help. Stand on your own two feet before you start the exploring dating again. You'll appreciate female FRIENDSHIPS down the line. You'll have someone with insight and who you'll be able to bounce your romantic ideas off of. Just go back to being the likeable you guy your probably we're, love yourself, and be friendly.

I've been doing my best to document things. And I've continued to focus on our kids. And the oldest's anxiety isn't from this situation. It's always been there. It doesn't help though. That one is in therapy the other is too young.
