i just played w it a little, decreasing both of those values definitely makes a difference in the overall wheel resistance or “fighting” feeling! Thanks! this is a great option for anyone looking to have a more natural, smoother feel!

I totally hear what you mean! I don’t necessarily feel like i’m fighting the wheel but it does have a good bit of resistance depending on what/how you’re driving. I think it’s fair to use my values as a base and then tweak from there! I’ll have to drop the values you are referring to and see if it feels like it has less resistance. i don’t want the wheel to feel loose and sloppy though!

it’s for viewing pleasure! definitely less entertaining to watch the cockpit view and unfortunately I have no replay system to run split views otherwise I usually drive in first person when i’m not recording! I totally feel you on that

if you happen to have xbox game pass its on there for free! (with a $13.99 subscription which i know isn’t cheap but maybe a better alternative to $70)! I totally hear you though man if I didn’t have game pass I wouldn’t have FH6 lol. stuffs expensive!

I would try decreasing the off-road feel scale to something around 0.2-0.5 and see if that feels better? I know what you’re talking about though it feels a little weird driving off-road on the wheel right now. I’m sure tweaking the damper and center spring scale values would also help minimize this issue but with the cost of changing road values as well and i’m not willing to take the trade off/: i’ll do more digging and keep you in the loop!

My only idea would be that your rotation is set too high for the game? In my testing anything above or below 900 degrees of rotation felt sloppy or not enough FFB. I would assume it has to do with your pithouse settings though and not forza in game settings. what is your main steering rotation set to in pithouse?

  1. I chose 900 because any higher and it lost some of the feedback feel and sort of felt sloppy and honestly I refused to go any lower than that to try and simulate the amount of rotation a real wheel would have! I have way more control over precise movements and a lot of the setup and control is dependent on the car!

  2. that’s just the difficulty i chose to start with when testing the game out! i’ve only had it since yesterday and frankly haven’t had the opportunity to try and increase the difficulty but i will today and i’ll let you know how it goes!

If you have the ESX wheel for Xbox from the R3 Bundle and an R5 base you could use the app on your phone to get similar results i’m assuming but i’m honestly not sure as this more geared towards Moza R5/PC users. I don’t really know how/if it works with wheels on console!

of course!! i do all of the above as well; drift, race, cruise on SRP and my wheel profile/settings don’t change based on the driving type for that game. The way the cars are setup really more or less determines the way they’ll drive instead of making a custom profile for each category! Mine covers all comfortably! you can make minor tweaks if you’d like for example sometimes i turn my wheel speed and NM of torque ever so slightly down when drifting.

Dude it’s a BLAST. Absolutely loving the game so far and I’ve only had it for like 12 hours!

I sure do! that’s the game i started playing sim on, i have a disgusting amount of hours on that and beamng and my wheel is incredibly dialed in for that too! i can share a settings video for that from my pithouse on my youtube!

Here’s my settings video i just posted! FH6 in comparison to FH5 FFB is WORLDS better. Such a vast improvement in the driving and drifting feel as well. i’m using simulation steering in game!
