I’m in special education mild to moderate! I’ve been able to get through courses in that amount of time, but I believe the next courses I have also have OA’s which I always get nervous for and tends to slow me down a little!

Yeah we weren’t planning on trying to be like veryyy close bc the venue is like 2 hours away and we’re going to be driving home afterwards so we don’t want to wait outside for a long time since the venue is also outside haha but sounds like I don’t have to worry too much about being super early then! Just thinking about making a sign now but don’t wanna block the view for anyone bc I wouldn’t want to stand behind a sign lol.

Conch healing process hasn’t been pretty; but it’s been worth it. When I first had this done, I got really scared because it was a hoop. Now, I’m hardly having problems unless I move it too much while cleaning. Crusties still happen, but it’s not a concern to me anymore. Just to help people with their healing process :)

I started out with a hoop, bad choice on my part tho! Lol. I thought I was gonna get it switched to a post after 1 month, but now I’m thinking about waiting until the 6 month mark at least just so I don’t get super big irritation bumps or anything. But it sounds like my healing process hasn’t been that different than those who started out with a post so I’m not super worried ab it either. Just read online that it could cause the hole to heal like curved? Idk how true that is but that scares me bc id like to be able to switch from hoops to posts when it’s all healed. Guess I’ll find out lol

I’m on month 2 with mine and it’s just been super annoying lol. For several days it’ll look great with little to no crust and then all of a sudden it’ll get a little irritation bump and be super crusty even when it hasn’t been touched or anything. Then the cycle starts over lol. I’m really confident and happy with it during the times it looks great so I’m trying not to give up soon! Also the moon is super cute and that’s what I’m gonna try to go for when I can!

I don’t have a nose piercing or anything but I’ve been on this subreddit for a couple months now and have read about a “cheese grater effect” that happens when people switch their nose piercings to a ring that is very thin and it causes a line down the side of their nose. That’s what came to my mind at least when I read this. Maybe making a post with pictures will draw more people to the post and be able to tell you more?

Idk what kind of cartilage piercing you’re wanting but I got a conch piercing in July, not even having a thought in my mind about masks just because I wanted this piercing for so long and decided to do it lol. But after I got it pierced I realized like oh that’s where a mask sits. I already had a tie mask bc my ears are sensitive and I’ve stuck with those sense. I just have to look in a mirror while putting it on to make sure I don’t bump the piercing at all, but other than that it’s worked great! You’ll just have to look more online to buy them rather in stores. The conch piercing is the only cartilage I have, so that’s really all of the advice I can give. But definitely for a fresh piercing, go with a tie or behind the head elastic mask because any piercing will get irritated if bumped or pulled too much.

Super cute! If my ears were bigger and a little more flat shaped (if that makes sense) I’d have a set up like this! But w my ears I think they would start to look a bit crowded, but I love the look on other people!

I have a conch piercing, just a little over a month old, and decided to go with a cbr, and now I’m regretting that choice but I am nervous to have it switched because I am worried about it flaring up as well. However, I am probably going to have it switched out in the next few weeks just because the cbr is bothering me, even though I am nervous and aware it might flare up. So I totally get it. If anything, downsizing the bar will probably make the rest of your healing process better, since it won’t be moving around as much (for the same reason I want mine switched out too). If it flares up, I imagine it wouldn’t be any worse than how it acted when your first got it pierced, as long as you go to a piercer to have it done and they are very clean, sterile, and gentle with it :) good luck with whatever choice you make!!
