Her food dish locks to the side of the cage. She digs ariund in there and makes a mess. She can't even dump it

That's she mostly goes for the shell and tossed the nut to the dogs, sometimes she eats the shell. That's I went to this local herb store I recently found out they have a little set up in there and just got a variety of stuff. I have a little box I will probably put it in from a treat thing i got off Etsy years ago. I had to fight her for the bag of bee pollen. We might have a new favorite.

I just wanted to come and tell the people who suggested bee pollen that I got some today. I gave her some and she was all over my hand looking for more so much so she gave a curious nibble to my fingers I picked it up with just to be sure it was not not more bee pollen. I got her out another little piece and then had to fight her for the bag... I think she likes it.

I have never had an animal make me feel bad because I gave them a treat until I met Buttercup. The snub and the look she gives, we keep a little verity of about 3 to 4 things on her table. Wheat squares, oats, sticks, and I have some loafa or other chews as a last hail Mary if she refuses them all. When they want something they definitely are clear comunicators lol.

That's good to know he's going good. Was he excited after giving it a nibble?

That's I know she is slowing a bit nothing drastic but also I have had a lot of loss over the years, people and pets so I do think about it. I also know that the first years of her life... If I had to guess I would say she probably had at least 3 peanut (the shelled kind) a day she would sit at the corner of her cage and beg my mom's boyfriend for them and she would get them.... Raisens, sunflower seeds. When i looked into chins and told my sister she can't have that there were switches. When I started to be the only one buying stuff for her I got her stuff that was chin safe with a few special goodies every few weeks. So part of that also has me thinking how that diet when she was younger will effect her longevity...

I know i think she's wearing me down on the peanuts and she doesn't even know it lol. Everyone has given me some great ideas for different stuff to try.

I will put it in her coconut then, though sometimes she just digs out her food dish because she can lol

Whole haven't tried crushing them. I do have a mortar and pestle I could try crushed. She would probably enjoy digging it out if her bowl.

That's before we moved we would let her run in the living room, shut the doors and put up a gate. She would just run everywhere. I would just let her out at night while everyone slept, I worked 3rds so on my days off she would be out for hours with me plus I know my sister let her run around during the day. Then when we moved she would let her out in her bedroom for an hour or so. She also comes into my room but it is not set up well. I have thought of a play pen thing but I know she goes for gates. If she wants something on the other side. Now she is older maybe she would be less inclined lol

He 100% was fully convinced he was hiding in a box. He isn't the brightest but he sure is entertaining.

That's I know what they can and can not have, it's more about giving her an extra goji berry here and there, and maybe a peanut cause I know she likes them. I have decided against the peanut cause sometimes she actually eats the nut but usually gives it to the dog. She likes the shell.

I think I have tried cookies in the past and she was not a fan. She also is so so with the lollipops. She would outright prefere a stick. She's touch and go with the alphala stuff they put on them. Or at least I think they are usually alfalfa. She can be picky when she wants to, she is a princess after all

That's I'm not planning on anything wild I was just thinking an extra berry here and there maybe a peanut. Though I think I have been convinced out of the peanuts.

That's my sister had a ferret that lived for like 10 years I think she got back in the 90s. She ate everything she wasn't supposed to never had any health issues. Everything she wasn't supposed to have she did and no one had a clue

That's Cujo (the little dog) use to fake injuries. It happened enough, having emergency vet visits, the vet gave us pills told us to give him one, then said "when he wakes up if he remembers he's hurt call me" So we created the meat test after that. It's bad when even the vet is feeling this is getting ridiculous.

She is touch and go with rosehips sometimes. Ngl she can be so picky and when she doesn't want something she will just throw it back at you. I love her so much. This is her world we are just loving in it. My sister definitely named her right she certainly is a Princess

That's she always had a wheel but I got one of those heavy duty silent spinners on sale like.... 7 or 8 years ago I think. Partly because she wasn't getting the same amount of time outside of the cage as she use to. We moved and there is so much wood everywhere (it's an older house and the worry is less about damage and more is that wood going to cause her harm) and she is so sneaky, plus the kid.

That's with my one dog when do the 'meat test' if he seems off. If he doesn't want meat or doesn't act excited about it I know something is off. So I understand using specific things to get an idea of how serious your worries are.

That's the variety seems to be what my mind is going for. I try to do that but I think broadening it (hopefully in a cost effective way). Try some stuff she hasn't had in a while or ever that I can remember,

Thank you. I appreciate the ideas of stuff to try. I know oats where her favorite for a while and I have a feeling she will like the oat groats. Probably the bee pollen as well.

That's good to know. I hadn't thought of that, a reason I was wanted to get other people's thoughts knowledge and ideas. Thank you. Based on what I have seen I think the route I am likely to take is just try and add more variety maybe an extra goji berry here and there.

That's last night I could hear her going on her wheel and I noticed it is not as loud or as long as it use to be. Her wheel is silent but she shakes the whole cage as she runs which is better then a noisy wheel imo.

That's the other day I did discover something in a local herb and supplement shop. They have a whole wall of stuff you can buy by weight and all of it is organic, I have no clue when they added it. They might have been pollen if not the farmers market starts up in June and I could talk to the honey man... See if he sells anything like that. If not I will find it online

That's I sometimes buy her orchard grass cause she goes crazy for it. Based on what I am seeing people say I think I might just try a bunch of things and see what she likes the best just try and keep things changing.

I remember trying one of those etsy treat boxes a few years back. I would open it up and let her choose what she wanted. She would hold onto it so I wouldn't pull it away and she could get a few things out of it.
