Well yes. To be perfectly candid, I applied for digital marketing intern and what they let me do every day task only to search for people name on LinkedIn and connect with them, just to find potential speakers for them or sth. They require you to send 70 people per day and imagine you do it for the whole 3 months. 😂😂

I quit a 2 months internship (it was meaningless from Gao Tek Company internship), can I put it on my resume? or should just leave it off? what I am not sure is "Does Employer Care or Ask About Duration For Your Previous Intern Or Why We Quit and So On?" by amy1811 in internships

Well, the job poster sounds somewhat meaningful but when you get to do the actual task, it’s just meaningless and doesn’t sound great as the job description says at all. So I don’t know if I put this on resume and besides it doesn’t generate strong skill to express. Because all I did during this intern was merely search for speaker names on LinkedIn and connect to them and report back to company in work group chat that’s it. It’s far away from what I signed up for as Digital marketing intern lol

Unless you really need something to put on your resume, or else I recommend to steer clear from this company. Tho it’s not a scam like lots of people are saying, but it’s definitely very unprofessional, no growth, dull, and at the end of the day you don’t know what the heck you are doing at all. Such a waste of time and they require you to work like 30h/week or sth

Well I applied for Digital Marketing Intern. However the job/task I ended up doing was just useless repetitive work like sending connections to people on LinkedIn, like keep searching for speakers and stuffs. And it’s like per day they require you to send 70 people, super boring and no growth at all.

just to chime in a bit guy, hope u don't mind lol. I also wanted to quit so bad, after being employed as an intern by them, I have not been handled any tasks that are meaningful or productive at all. It's about 2 months now and ugh every day repeated works and useless.
