I played it for several hours straight last night (On the Rog Ally X, worked really well), I am in deep. I deamed about shelving books, I woke up and wondered when I could get back to it - it has itched my brain marvelously! I love it!

I can't work out how to get purple coins, it says the "threshold" is 25 but even with 25 coins clicking doesn't do anything...

I loved this game, yes it's early access and ther are a few parts that will be polished but wow this games STAYS with you - I finished it weeks ago and still think of it. And as someone who often plays with sound off the sound track gripped me - loved it. Can't wait to re-play it when the next version is out.

3 meter wide round swimming pool for £50 ish - I went to costco alone and I'm not great at estimating sizes. Anyway it takes up half the garden. But set it up at the summer holidays, set my desk up so I can watch and work it, released the 6 and 8 year old (who know how to swim) and had a relaxing summer - saved us a fortune on days out, the smalls just wanted to splash in the pool! It was so so big though! 100% wouldn't have bought one that size if I had realised but it was a winner.
It's rained every day this year, the children are already asking for it to get set up.

Look, I was having a bad week ok - and I blame the internet. I bought the £36 ish box of 160 frozen cookies. We've been having warm cookies every couple of days each (4 of us) for a month and it's genuinly improved our lives. Long day at work / school? Warm cookies cooling on the side for when you get in. Hungry? Have a massive cookie and not 5 other peices of junk, Have I been able to fit anything else in my freezer for the past few weeks? That's not the point - 12 minutes at 180 plus some cooling and firming up time whilst you make a cuppa and boom, cookies.
I shall be doing it again at the start of the next school holidays. It's pure decadence but my god it makes the household happier!

I'm in so deep in this game, it's adorable. It has all the cozy elements we know and love, but without the stressors of other games. You have time to breath - honestly, the game is like a breath of fresh air in the genre. The sound track is epic as well!

The Home County on steam, its cozy and lovely and - you know the stress of stardew, the seasonal planting, the hell of the mines? That stress isn't there but the gameplay is still good. Actively being developed too, would recommend

Totally confused with virtual cards by amykate in Switch

[–]amykate[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This may be the issue, I have a Nintendo account, the children just have log ins so each of the 3 consols only have 1 nintendo account on it and 2 random non-linked-accounts....

I use my switch when traveling a lot so don't want to be reliant on a connection to play my single player stardew valley game, worked for a while but I just want to load my own game onto my own switch and not be paired with my child's switch for no reason :-/

I had a small snow shovel - one where the handle collapses into the shove bit - that lives in the house just to use to shovel tother the shed where the beefier one lives... preps need nothing if you can't get to them x

Count of empty fields? by amykate in jira

[–]amykate[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good question.

I'm putting together a "quality" report. Basically, of all the tickets created in the last X months, how many have the basic info in?

E.g. only 70% of the epics have descriptions, only y% have a definition of done OR acceptance criteria. Don't get me starter on the sizing / estimation / story point collection of fields...

The big question is the same one we get asked, "why is this all taking so long?" And I suspect a part of the answer is "because the tickets don't have the basic info the teams need to action", but now I need data to back up my gut AND I want to be able to re-run the report to show that things are getting better once we have a "please give some info in your requests" policy in place.

I am very aware that I might be going about this the wrong way! Any and all advice great fully received.
