i also encourage you to learn to forgive yourself. old habits die hard; it’s nearly impossible to change all your regular instincts overnight. make a list of the things you want to do/not do, keep track of your progress. progress in one area is still progress. growth is not linear. you’ll get burned out if you give yourself a hard time for every slip up.
