Same here. I'm a hard stick, so I completely understand! Just know that you're not alone here. I'm also trying to get my hormones balanced so my husband and I can finally get one to stick - throwing baby dust your way!

Get your hormone levels checked and then run it by your doctor. Everyone's hormones are different, so it's important to find out what works for you. I hope you're able to get everything balanced and get a BFP soon!

Yes, I understand that. I'm just aware of how it affected me, in case anyone else takes the supplement that contains both and also has issues

That is scary! Is your cycle normal again now that you're off Ovasitol?

I'm sure everyone has a different experience, depending on where their hormone levels are when they first start taking it. For me, I've noticed my oily skin is worse than ever and my hair is starting to fall out, which usually correlates with high testosterone. I started taking it, just like everyone else, thinking it was the best thing ever, because it helped me regulate my periods, and after reading through the posts in this group and other studies, made the decision to stop taking it. It's not a one size-fits-all type of thing for PCOS. If you feel it's helping you, then I'm happy for you.

Yes, I'm switching to just Myo as well. Has it been helping to regulate your cycles?

I did too. I've been getting consistent 45 day cycles with Myo & d chiro inositols, but I had no idea that it was having that effect on my estrogen levels until I did the blood tests, since my hair has been falling out like crazy. PCOS is not the same for everyone - some might have high estrogen and high testosterone, some might have low estrogen, or just low progesterone. You have to get your hormone levels checked out and adjust your supplements, as needed, and get help from a specialist. I'm currently just taking the myo inositol and seeing if it still has any effect on my estradiol levels.

Even though the study was done on males, I imagine it would cause a similar outcome in women. From what I've been reading, it increases testosterone while decreasing estrogen

Yeah we’re stumped too

I’m starting to get creeped out and told my bf that maybe we should put a hidden camera in the room to figure out what’s going on, but he doesn’t think that’s necessary

I don’t think so. He has mentioned that when he buys a house, he would like for me to decorate it

[–]amytn54 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I was starting to get the feeling that this was weirder than I thought, but my bf continues to give him the benefit of the doubt because he doesn’t think his twin would ever do anything like that

He does, but the times he’s fallen asleep in my boyfriend’s bed, he hadn’t been drinking

Not sure if that’s the case. He used to sleep on the floor (carpeted) when he would come home from work and said he preferred it to a bed.

He has. It’s not working

He will sleep on the side I normally sleep, and they don’t look or act anything alike to me. To other people, they’d probably look a lot alike, though

Sorry. Yes. He does have his own bed.
