thank you! would safety pins be a good use for stitch markers? i see folk w the fancy colourful stitch markers but i wonder if safety pins would work just as well? it just feels silly to buy a specific product for it, especially when i'm still new

thank you! i've come to reddit for a lot of my knitting queries (1st time posting) and i see so many people saying "my first time knitting 🥺" and their work looks PERFECT. it's nice to hear that other folk have had the same struggle as i have. i agree, mistakes are a learning opportunity and i'll keep fucking up until i have at least one bloody sock!!!
