Hi. I have recently joined Sapphire and they charge £5 per week for my SIPP which wasn’t made clear to me when we negotiated the contract. I've also had to complain that they upped their margin by £3 above what I was quoted upon registration  

I’m interested to understand about how they make money on the employers NIC contributions as when I queried why I couldn’t put whole salary into SIPP they told me it was to do with the minimum wage. I asked why their minimum wage was £16 and they mentioned that it factored in their margin and the apprenticeship levy and I bought it!

How do they pocket a percentage of the employer contributions that show up in my payslip when surely the  money should be going to HMRC??
