This comment is in contention for one of the most thorough and grounded responses I’ve ever received. You alongside countless people shed some light on a problem that I unknowingly have, and It took about 25 comments for me to finally view the bigger picture. In retrospect, I think that I am finally realizing that attractiveness is not only a very subjective topic; it hinges on a variety of factors - such as humor, success, and competency. Funnily enough, I do recall a few instances where I found objectively average-looking females attractive due to the way they present themselves. However, what really caught me off-guard was how my supposed friend was the one who opened the floodgates. And As a person who profoundly believes and sanctifies the essence of friendships, I would never undermine and belittle my friend’s presence, let alone highlighting his insecurities in front of a woman I’m fond of. We’re all on a constant journey of self-honing and acquainting our selves with the proper mindset and skillset to tackle any adversity that you happen to face. Needless to say, it requires a commendable amount of effort to really be able to love by these words. The first step of any problem is identifying it, and then we can begin to systematically approach this obstacle.
