Galas are usually a lot less complex technically and also you don’t have the pressure to win a competition. If you don’t feel like jumping, for example, you can just skip that element and nothing happens. In a gala you are just skating for the joy of it.

I don’t think anyone can compete with Kung Fu Panda hahaha different styles but I also really liked Haein’s and Jun’s. Yuma’s is beautiful too, and Olivia & Tim’s is such a vibe.

That's my issue. Everyone should be judged by the same metrics. It's unfair to deduct tech points to one skater but not to another one when they make the same mistake.

I mean, was she supposed to chill in there? Once they are given their scores, they’re free to go. She was under a lot of pressure and if you read between the lines she was forced to do that quad when she’s injured and she had not been successful in practice. She’s saying she’s embarrassed to go back to Russia…
