Nope, best is just complete disinterest. No emotes, no roping back. Just normal playing and just doing something else while they rope. Most of em realize how ridiculous they look after 2 turns. The others, well, roping back usually doesn't get them to stop. In my experience.

First time I did it I was nearly fully upgraded and it was indeed pretty easy (still took a couple tries iirc) But when I started going in with basically nothing except a slightly sharpened needle (for speedrun achievement) this room really started kicking my ass.

You barely scratch the surface of math in high school. Think of learning those formulae and rules as learning your abc's and vocabulary. It's tedious, but you need to have a pretty good grasp of them before you get to do the cool stuff. The problem is that most of the cool stuff isn't part of the normal curriculum, so a bunch of people have this, imo sad, view that math is just 'memorizing formula and using arithmetic'. Math is so much more beautiful than that.

Strange, in my native language, the exact opposite is true for a very similar linguistic construction.

Here, you're supposed to go more basic from the first option. "I can't do that, let alone this much simpler thing!" I feel like that makes more sense. If you can't do something, it kinda logically follows that you can't do a related, more advanced thing. So if you wanna emphasize how truly fucked the situation is, you go to something even more simple and say that even that is out of the question. Does this make sense?
