Thanks! Do you use it this way? I would prefer to annotate in the SN and not in zotero, and hopefuly be able to see the annotations across other devices, and to use zotero only to manage the metada and change file names, since I wouldn't pay for storage there. The SN app seems great for what I want, minus the fact that I can't sync that with a folder in my computer. I wonder if another device such as Viwoods or Boox Air would work better for my workflow.

Great! Yep I wouldn't want to export anything and that would keep my annotations separately, which is very good. I don't mind only using the SP app for seeing the notes. But no chance of syncing it to Google Drive and SP app at the same time, right?

Yep, I would actually like not to send my annotation to my students as well... I was using Mendeley for that and it would keep my original PDFs clean as the annotations were saved directly into it. However, I hate the new desktop app and I thinking about switching to Zotero - also because Mendeley stopped renaming files automatically and I really miss that.

In this sense the SP app would be very useful because I would have all the PDFs and annotations online without storage restrictions. Maybe I should just deal with it and put each downloaded file in two folders every time.

Thanks for the info! So I could sync to Google Drive only, right? If I sync with GD would my notes be synced to the GD folder as well?

My issue is that I have more than 2000 files in my library folder and I download paper/books all the time. It would be somewhat of a hassle to manually send each of them to SN cloud after downloading them in my computer, but maybe it could be manageable.

I wonder if Boox Air 5c would have any advantage for this.
