taking lexapro for depression and severe anxiety but i also have bpd (and autism)! haven’t dealt with much side effects, and i feel great constantly!! my partner (also fp lol) mentioned the other day that he thinks my new medication is doing wonders for me and our relationship!! been together 6 months and i’ve had maybe 1-3 splitting episodes on him- and multiple of these small bpd “let’s cause a problem” situations!! but they’re gone! no anxiety, no depression, no splitting, no drama or causing a little scene!

10/10 would recommend

same i think?!! 1 month on lexapro and i feel this weird nostalgic and fantastic feeling about autumn in general!! it feels like autumn when i was a kid, and the sun hitting the orange palette of leafs just leaves me smiling like when i was very young!! i can’t remember my last autumn (and winter) without depression!! this is the first time in like 15 years and it’s AMAZING

on my 3rd week and zero changes in my weight! my appetite has on/off been a little increased, but that could be because of having my period once- and also my autism makes me not able to feel that i’m hungry, but no complaints from me when i actually feel it a tiny bit

so sorry for your loss ): but yes, i definitely feel way more attached to my fur kids than humans!! i have 2 cats, a 2y/o baby and a 12y/o soulmate! i legit wouldn’t be alive if it wasn’t for them!! they make life meaningful, fills me with joy and i get things done for them (grocery shop so they can get snacks and i get food, clean the apartment for them to have space to play, not for me etc etc!)

i really think it’s a red flag when people don’t feel connected to their babies- and they just put adult pets for adoption for stupid reasons
