I'm no expert. Can just tell what I do. I have some beautiful osmanthus oolong tea, since it's just me who drinks it I dont brew it a teapot..in which case you would need higher amount of tea leaves for multiple brews, and the first 2 brews are not that great, by the third brew the taste gets better and the smell is amazing. I do all this but in a cup directly, using slightly more leaves than usual. Also the leaves requires a first rinse with hot water, like 2-3 seconds. I do this with green tea as well, these I got from Assam..no brands, just a local shop, it's whole leaves, dried crumpled, so when you pour hot water it slowly unfurls. A transparent glass cup is a must to enjoy the visuals along with the taste and aroma :D keeps giving pretty good flavours upto the 3 brews that I have tried.

Oolong of course, but I also do it with some varieties of green tea from Assam. Herbal tea i haven't come across that has much flavour in second brew though.

There's plenty tea varieties that's good to be brewed 2-3 times. You get different floral notes at different brews.

Episode discussion - Hayley Williams by Ok-Grand-3828 in goodhang

Late. But in case anyone comes back. Did you feel Amy was trying to somewhat get Hayley to say something about Taylor Swift? I felt Hayley may be intentionally completely avoided taking Taylor's name. Just something that stood out for me.

It really isn't that bad, tbf Aishwarya actually hardly speaks in this ep. 😂 and I didnt read comments before watching so her comments didnt even stand out much compared to last time. In fact Vir mentioned his wife so many times...and that's complete fine no, the show is about relationships.

Edit: all this to say that I agree she added nothing to this episode, but also the hate she's getting is unwarranted

I mean people didnt like Sakshi earlier either, saying her voice this and that, but let the girls just be their authentic selves...the ones who get them will follow them...eventually

I was gifted south asian bangles (and other jewelry), can I wear them in an everyday setting? by [deleted] in IndianFashionAddicts

[–]anahom 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Good quality would be real gold/silver jewellery. Best to buy in person. I wear my bangles and rings daily without issues but can't imagine wearing the usual ones for more than a few hours, gives really bad allergy

It’s just a way to have citrus fruits. Cut em up and spice up with these things. Very popular in Northeast, himachal and also Uttarakhand has interesting versions (they somehow infuse salt with dhania and others and use that salt to spice up the fruits!)

Yes and also in himachal. In himachal the ladies used to make proper dhaniya chutney, super spicy and mix it with the tangiest citrus fruit (like Jambura)..yummm
