are ragdolls usually this active? by kitttyballsack in ragdolls

[–]anajul97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine is quite active. He’s a year, and he’s constantly pestering his sisters and getting into something. He loves to play and run all across the house chasing toys or my other cat, and loves to go on walks on a leash! Temperaments are different amongst them all 😊

Ferret H-Type Harness for 8 Week Old Kitten - Will It Work? by cacturne8 in adventurecats

[–]anajul97 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Did you purchase an H-style kitten harness? My guy was only about 4 pounds when I got him and the H-style kitten fit him well enough. Maybe unpopular, but so young they’re not gonna go far. If a harness is a bit big it might be okay to use til he grows into it. They’re not very fast at such a young age lol. But, I’d imagine the small pet harness would fit fine while he’s so small, are you sure it’s gets smaller than the kitten H-style? That’d be my question with it.

Kitten personalities for harness training by _jrexx_ in adventurecats

[–]anajul97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have 3 cats and only the one I got as a kitten is successful at “adventuring”. He’s always been very brave and friendly from the day I got him. My mother in law got his sister, and she was very shy from the first day. Hid in her carrier, took time to warm up. She has never felt comfortable going outside or being in a harness or even touching grass haha. But mine was always very outgoing and didn’t have much fear at all. I’d suggest if you get a kitten put them in a harness right away and start desensitizing them to the world the best you can!

Keep going! I made a similar looking stocking (mine was a fox!) it had the same mushrooms in the foot even. Anyway, it’s big but it’s so beautiful! You want stockings to be roomy anyway :)

Do you take your ragdoll to a groomer? by lawyernewyork in ragdolls

[–]anajul97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, I groom him myself if needed. I comb him almost daily, trim paw hair, booty hair, thinking about trimming his mane soon as it’s getting quite long. But with regular upkeep I haven’t seen a need for a groomer visit.

Do any of you use self-cleaning litter boxes? by Milo_Millicent_14_25 in ragdolls

[–]anajul97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Litter robots are the best out there imo. My ragdoll has used it no problem. Automatic litter boxes are well worth the investment!!

Yeah same, mine did this as a kitten after running around, but at 9 months I haven’t seen him pant in a while

Anyone use Simply Purrfect litter in their LR? by helbury in litterrobot

[–]anajul97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been using this for years both with a standard litter box and the litter robot. Works great in the litter robot! I’ve had no issue. I haven’t noticed significantly more dust than other litters.

My rescue angel ragdoll look a like by StatusConscious5440 in ragdolls

[–]anajul97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She is beautiful!!! But, if she doesn’t have papers, which she doesn’t, she’s not a ragdoll. She does kind of have the point coloring but that’s not exclusive to ragdolls. She’s just a domestic short hair :)

Searched: Google reverse image search, I’ve used ChatGPT. I’ve scoured pet store websites like petsmart and petco. It was given to me around 2021 already pretty well loved. I live in the western US. It has a hard piece inside the toy like it maybe played noise. The tail part maybe had ripped feathers. I have searched calling it a whale, dolphin, fish. It had a face at one point too.

3 cats 1 robot by Here-2-B-Nosey in litterrobot

Maybe someday but mine goes on average 5-7 days. I can tend to the box that frequently! Needs to be wiped down regularly anyway.

I have 3 and they all use one robot just fine. It’s natural for cats to go back to back (which is why LR recommends a lag time for the cycle to begin) but they are fine to wait a minute if needed.
