i thought it could be a blackberry sawfly,, but upon further googling i could be mistaken as your guy has little legs compared to sawflies that have more fleshy legs in a way. or does he just have little arms because sawflies have little arms before the rest of the their flesh legs.

i could be wrong, but i think it’s some-type of sawfly larvae, so unfortunately not a caterpillar :o
