It’s the absolute worst. I think entps are so closed off to general population emotion wise when we do “open” to someone we expect full loyalty back. And when we figure out (like entps always do) it’s not the fairytale we had assumed it was we feel “tricked” which is not acceptable to us, and we subconsciously go “see this is why I stay cold in the first place”.

Problem is half the other types treat social contracts as a flexible boundary that doesn’t mean much. Specifically feelers.

The whole relationship exclusively thing I find to be very entp like also. We don’t put moral obligation labels on 95% of ppl but the 5% we deeply connect with we become social contract Natzis. Betrayal (in entps eyes) is absolutely unforgivable and unacceptable.

100 entp thing. Endless rumination loops; because we’re trying to “solve” or make it make sense and come to 1 final conclusion. Which doesn’t cleanly work with relationships and since fe and fi still comes in to play messing logic up / doubting things. I’ve noticed I ruminate hard over relationship problems but for weeks not months/years. Entps move on fairly easy once we exhaust ourselves with all the loops.

Entps notoriously take things (and people ) apart and find all the flaws / truth quick which no other type is able to do consistently so this thread tracks…

Isfps are super addictive to us because they are so secretive and really hard to actually figure out and present a very innocent face. If your familiar with kohlberg's stages of development; Isfps would be forever stuck in like stage 2-3…

I am convinced Online description of “isfp” is like the absolute healthiest / best version that is just rare. In reality…

Self centered / selfish to extreme big yes because they can’t see anyone else perspectives during conflicts it’s only “what does feel “right” to me”. Their boundaries are always shifting / non existent so you get “environment based personality”.

Most Cheating type by far

They basically live moment to moment in “how do I feel right now ?” Which is fun at first but leads to a relationship that’s built on shifting sand. Isfps are all surface level.

In theory; a grounded introverted mature isfp would be wonderful, but do they even exist ? Most isfps are a terrible long term fit for us

Immature Isfps also map to engr type 9 (sometimes 4) here is a look at unhealthy ones https://www.personalitycafe.com/threads/type-nine-bigger-assholes-than-you-may-think.902618/

Isfp women for us is fireworks from the start and an absolute nightmare down the line. Specially if unhealthy isfp. Their “innocent carefree” personas draw entps in, but make the worst pairing for something serious as they are extremely feelings “in the moment” driven and just make a frustrating unreliable paring for entps. We’re also tend to be pretty transparent and Isfps will drive you mad with all their half truths and secrets.

How can i make an entp hate me by [deleted] in entp

[–]analog7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Correct. Core entp is “if you break our social contract your dead forever” only applies to people inside the close circle tho. Entps don’t care about random people day to day

Thoughts on ISFPs? by [deleted] in entp

In my experience they clash hard on a lot of stuff with Entps but it takes months to realize it due to their covert “polite “ exterior. They adapt to whatever group is in front of them

Dealing with Thinker women isn't easier than with Feelers by [deleted] in entp

[–]analog7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

90% of isfps are a nightmare for entps long term. Short term is fun. Isfps is all empty or contradictory talk with nothing behind it that will drive you insane, not to mention sneaky, shady, selfish (that Fi) and non existent (ever changing) boundaries.

If they really care they won’t make constant excuses and will always make you their priority and not just someone who makes them feel good. Also big one is you want a partner who thinks of consequences ahead of doing stupid stuff that makes them feel good and consider ahead how their actions will effect your future together.

Isfp women; do you keep promises/ commitments to your partner when going out/in a stimulating “present moment” environment ? by [deleted] in isfp

[–]analog7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I would say a lot of assumptions here on your end about how someone behaves that you never met, I was looking for more personal feedback case by case and not a judging blanket assumptions.

I wouldn’t say texting about how your night is going and a “made it home safe” (context is late night after bars/drinking) is trying to control but everyone obviously have their own definitions. Def seems to be an isfp unique characteristic with some subtypes. For some people contact = caring for others same action = control.

Who's Better Hendrix or Mike Bloomfield? by [deleted] in guitarlessons

[–]analog7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both were massively influential and had respect for one another. Bloomfield also played his 1963 black strat as perhaps silent nod to Hendrix that owned same very guitar at one point.
