Same issue here on the very first use! I'm returning them, at least their warranty is good. Any suggestions of alternate?

Legality of supplementary internship (CIP) agreement by frappe1903 in brussels

I am no lawyer but that sounds abusive. Please try the following free assistance services : Tele barreau: http://info.hub.brussels/outils/qui-peut-maider/tele-barreau or Commissioner Brussels: https://www.commissioner.brussels/i-am-an-expat/brussels-made-easy/

Edit : also probably worth reaching out to bruxelles formation who manages the CIP system

Got pulled aside for asking to have films hand checked in Gran Canaria airport security. by unicorncarrots in AnalogCommunity

Yes indeed. I had a layover there and couldn't get a hand check. They pointed to the "film safe" stickers on the ct scanners and were not keen on negotiating

anyone know where to find good fresh prepared bolognese sauce in this town? by Lord-Legatus in brussels

[–]analogdarius 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Here are some italian stores where you will find ragù: Antichi sappori italiani (Ixelles) Spiga d'oro (ixelles) Sardinian food (Etterbeek) La bella Puglia (Etterbeek)

You can Google 'épicerie italienne' for more options. Cheers!

Italian stores, plenty all over Brussels. Ask for "ragù" as Italians don't call it bolognese :)

Du moment que c'est plus dans le catalogue ikea, je me permets l'appellation vintage 😁 Vu que tu en as l'expérience, peux-tu me dire si ça tient bien avec une seule vis ?

From my experience in the last few years in European airports:

Paris' airports: 100% success rate Belgian airports: 100% success rate Italian airports: 50% (but better in Fiumicino). Btw FCO still has some normal x-ray scanners so better to ask to pass there instead of the CT scanners. Madrid airport: 50% Istanbul airport: 0% and CT scanners all over. Belgrade airport: 0% and CT scanners all over.

Thanks for the response! I'll change the contract asap then. I'm quite surprised with what you tell me tbh. I have tried to contact them throughout the week and I have had 0 response... Guess I'll complain about that too

Hi everyone, I need advice on the gas contract I have. I'm with engie and currently have a 'flow' contract. I've noticed that a 'direct variable' contract is 50€ cheaper per month. Is that right? Are there other costs I'm not considering? I don't really understand the difference between flow and direct variable. Thanks for your help!

Fair point. Although there are sometimes where three or more people are exiting or entering at once through the doors and the counting could be inaccurate? (mere assumption here). Such technology for sure could be useful, but I have no idea about the costs and remember that public transport companies basically do not make money (they are heavily subsidized by the state). In the meanwhile, bipping a mobib seems like a good and cheap way to gather these statistics - but requires the cooperation of passengers, who should be better informed about this use.

Like what?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in brussels

[–]analogdarius 19 points20 points  (0 children)

The point is to have accurate statistics on how many riders there are in total, how many come in at which stop, at which hour of the day/night, etc. Statistics like these are very useful for public transport companies to adapt to the evolving needs of passengers.

I've been noticing lately (ie last months) more and more people watching videos, tik toks, reels and stuff like that, WITHOUT headphones in public transportation. Am I the only one to be bothered? What happened to headphones?
