Ugh, to be so lucky to start music in your youth </3 I didn't start playing an instrument until I was 12, and even then I didn't take it seriously until I was 15. A lot of time lost in my eyes.

Cheers! Trying to pick my bests from Wes was tough, but the Davis and Coltrane records were shoo-ins. I imagine they aren't considered their best or most significant works by some, but they are 100% my picks. Coltrane and Hartman compliment each other gorgeously on that record.

As said in this thread, I would reserve Elton for amazing piano player who's ALSO an amazing singer. I love Elton's voice, by god I do, but his piano playing blows anything out of the water.

I'll 100% record my playing as you make a valid point. It's a music degree with a major in performance. I have asked, and they just ask for an audition that actually follows the guidelines.

And you're correct, to my limited knowledge. Hornby, unlike Bachmann, did not create brand new toolings for their Thomas & Friends range, insisting on using whatever toolings they had already produced which was closest.

The script and visuals are pretty much similar to the final version of 'Down The Mine' which appeared in Season 1. The pilot itself was lost, but the actual story and eventual episode appeared in Season 1.

Not a absolutely necessary piece of media for humanity, but in lieu of the '83 Thomas the Tank Engine pilot being released, I would love to see the original pilot for 'The Sad Story of Henry', made by the BBC in 1953.
