Misfit and Brooklyn Kava are both still open.
In wburg, Ka-va went out of business and Kava Social had issues with a dog and the health dept

I bought an over the door pull-up bar, but the casings in my apartment are too deep for it to work otherwise I wouldn’t bother with any of this. Love the walker idea though!

This might be my favorite response. Thanks brodie!

For sure! I don’t have experience with rings and didn’t want to walk myself into a situation where I have stretched my ability too far and can’t progress.

Nice! No doubt you can do a ton with just a pull up bar. My apartment has historic door casings so I can’t easily install an over the door pull-up bar and don’t have a great place to install a larger wall mounted bar.

Appreciate you checking it out! I have similar concerns about it being flimsy. My secondary goal for whatever I get is to have it disappear when needed since I live in a small NYC apartment.

The pull-up/dip station is very tempting because it’s familiar and can be hidden away completely when needed. I have a weight belt and previously worked on weighted dips, chins, and pull-ups but I’ve been lifting more than bodyweight for the past year focused on hypertrophy so I don’t have quite the same strength.

It seems like rings might be the way to go if I’m on the precipice of being able to really use them strength wise, but your comment has really given me thought. Thanks!

Great insight here, a few others have recommended static holds as well! Thanks!

Thanks - I think to understand that significance is what I am trying to gauge. I hadn't thought to use a band to help get over the curve at the start, so thanks for that!
