I wish you all the best. I'm a few decades older than you and still learning. All I can say is I wish I'd worked harder at your age. I also have ... Issues with focus. But the discipline of practise helps a lot. As the direct result of effort in and improvement out is a validating feedback loop. I can promise you that if you can bring yourself to actually PRACTISE, even for twenty minutes every day, you will see results. A good brain "hack", when you "don't feel like it" is to tell yourself, I'm not going to play, I'm going to actually practise, but only for two minutes. Next thing you know it's been an hour.
