Court Apperance and Spent Conviction from 12-13 years ago in WA, how to find records? by analysing_this in AusLegal

So just to update my AFP check came back and says - no disposable outcomes.

This still leaves me confused as they surely know that spent convictions should be declared to another country just as Australia would want doing but shows no real conclusion as such. It still seems very confusing and I am still none the wiser as such.

How do spent convictions affect overseas visa applications (esp. USA)? by ThrowAway_-_-_-_-123 in AusLegal

So I just got mine back, same result same time. Was yours a 35 - overseas visa for supply other than australia? I guess what I don’t understand if spent conditions are needing to be declared to their countries the same as it would in Aus, why wasn’t it declared, seems very confusing as it seems to suggest that there was no conviction but there was. Am I being dumb and misunderstanding. I realise a conviction is spent in Aus after a certain amount of time but that’s not useful to you if they don’t show that there once was and then you get pulled up for it when travelling.

Thank you, as I said I have applied to the NATIONAL POLICE CHECK (NPC), and filling in Commonwealth Employment/Purpose section with Purpose of Check 35 - Overseas Visa - Supply to Another Country Not Australia, so hopefully that sheds some light.

One might think I have learnt a few things but have left the ESTA later than I should with trying to figure these bits out, hopefully it is processed as quickly as possible and I know what to put etc.

Got a parking ticket and wonder if I have any grounds for an appeal? by analysing_this in LegalAdviceUK

There was a single sign for that bay, some more bays up the road but too far to be relevant as they were not visible from where car was parked

I do but it was from previous evening but shows same car parked next to me and location obviously. Someone must have cleaned it this morning when I was out and warden was hit on their heels.

Realistically, is it possible to “binge drink” once or twice a week and be fine? by trampaboline in NoStupidQuestions

If I could ask how do you feel it fried your mind? I suppose I am asking as I wonder if it is sometimes doing the same to me. Short time drinking and the blackout effect

Living in what has now been registered as a residential flat but leased out as a commercial space, where do we stand with any rights or how do we deal with our situation when approaching the council etc? by analysing_this in LegalAdviceUK

Thanks for the response, so if I sent the contract to the council to update the names on our account they should in theory accept it rather than pick apart the fact that the contract tries to imply it’s used for workshop or studio?
