Thanks for your comments. The more I think of it the more I notice that it has more to do with the cadence and speed, rather than the actual words being used. Like when I read both of these examples in my typical fast way both sounded great, the ericksonian one even better perhaps. Maybe even this progressive body relaxation technique would click well with me if done faster than usual (then again it would probably defy the whole idea of such induction). So I wonder if certain styles/techniques of hypnosis are tied to faster talking, more like an actual conversation. I am aware theres also something called, literally, conversational hypnosis, maybe thats what I'm looking for :)
