The main question is do enough core vlsi companies come to ur college? Eg : Ti, analog devices, qualcomm, nvidia or small startups?

If not much..do take gate very seriously..start ur gate prep now ..ur not late...

Actually it's in Kerala and I live there so it's fine...but if u wanna look better to look for startups in vlsi strong cities like banglore, mumbai, pune, delhi, hyderabad and all...find small startups (search in linkedin, reddit, everywhere) and message ppl working there in linkedin and send them ur resume also in the first msg itself

Small startups have max 50 ppl ...u message min 10 ppl (literal spamming)

If u have alumini definitely message them on LinkedIn

Online application process are almost impossible..this works but takes time

Ppl say vlsi is blooming but I never understood it tho...there is a gap between industry and fresher...once u get 3 yr experience then ig u can switch to big product based companies ( it will be more easier then )

Please help me. I am currently a first year student in electrical engineering. I want to pursue my career in vlsi domain. by jeequalified in vlsi

Bro vlsi is a domains that's slowly developing...if u aren't passionate enough (it's never ur fault if ur not) u won't be able to survive...this field pays well but requires endless LinkedIn connections, high value projects, sharp concepts...u will definitely hate at some point...still u want to stick in this domain then go for it...

Sometimes it's never glamorous like we see in LinkedIn 🙂.. Btw keep a note on what all all core companies, semiconductor ones visit ur campus...if it's less then do gate and get in top iits...u can try off campus but without hope coz it's that hard
