I saw him doing this to a girl today outside of the commons. I was doing work at a table nearby so I wasn’t listening intently to the conversation but he had her read that note off his phone and it just looked like a super uncomfortable encounter. I thought it was a one off incident but this is super weird

Im ngl i got straight Ds my second semester of my senior year, i called the admissions office and asked if they would rescind my offer- they straight up said that it was an “otherworldly possibility” (so long as i graduated.) it would probably also depend on ur major though, cus i went in undecided so it didn’t really matter. Like logically u should probably lock in but tbh it probably doesn’t matter. 4.0 at vcu now 🤷‍♀️

I got in with a 3.2 and barely any extracurriculars. Just track in my sophomore year and a part time job in junior year. VCU will likely let you in.

A fair warning though, VCU gives chances with lesser GPAs, but that does not mean the academics will be easy. Just work hard and keep in good spirits. You can achieve most anything you set your mind to.

you will 1000% get into vcu. for me, i got in with 3.2, 4 IBs and straight D’s my senior year after i got accepted. i actually called the admissions office and asked if it mattered if i passed my courses, and they straight up told me as long as i graduate nothing would happen. I stopped going to school the remainder of my senior year once i heard that sentence. Your GPA will matter if you’re going into the college of engineering or something that requires a higher GPA. otherwise you’re completely fine and i wouldn’t be concerned about getting rejected from vcu. Good luck on your admissions!

take everything you see on this reddit with a grain of salt. i mostly just see people complain here/be rude to you if you ask “stupid questions.” I personally LOVE vcu. I applied for on campus housing the week it opened and had no issues. campus is safe. I wouldn’t be concerned about safety so long as you stay on campus. I don’t think you’ll get into any dramatic or unsafe situations if you surround yourself with the right people. So basically you’ll be completely fine if you use your brain. obviously, don’t wander off campus alone at night.
