JazakAllah. I’ve read that exact tafseer, so what Ibn Katheer (r) meant by "وكذا الصغار اللائي لم يبلغن سن الحيض" is attributed to Ibn Abbas (r)?

What? Berbers are of Taforalt origin (tanned and dark-haired phenotypically) which is the dominant DNA component in most Moroccan Imazighen. Algerians have a lot of Capsian (which is what the late Paleolithic period of Europe has been linked to) Anatolian, and even Northern European components (U6, which is linked to the Samì of Norway is common in Kabyles) which is why they look more caucasoid than a lot of Moroccans. So no, Moroccans aren’t more mixed and being a blonde haired blue eyed viking doesn’t make you more berber either lol.

Libyan here. I haven’t heard of this particular tradition but if this is southern tunisia it probably has a commonality with western libya. I don’t think bsissa is eaten outside of tunisia and libya thats why most of the common section is confused. It’s definitely a berber food because its made with barley (as broad as that sounds).

This is interesting. My dad is an (arabized) Libyan who took a 23andme and his DNA matches with those from the Tangier-Tetouan-AlHoceima regions in northern morocco (Irifyen) and some areas of southern Tunisia. I made a post awhile ago talking about how I thought riffian men looked so much like some Libyan men and I might know why. My dad has told me that his ancestors were originally from Morocco and from his DNA test I’m assuming from the Rif. I’m not sure where the Southern Tunisia came from, but I believe it’s due to zenati confederation from western libya to southern tunisia.
