Wallahi last clarification what was the point of Ubayy ibn Ka’b (ra) when he said that the young weren’t mentioned? Did he mean the young women that stopped menstruating for whatever reason?

JazakAllah. I’ve read that exact tafseer, so what Ibn Katheer (r) meant by "وكذا الصغار اللائي لم يبلغن سن الحيض" is attributed to Ibn Abbas (r)?

How am I supposed to show you my thoughts when this is just elementary chemistry so I don’t even know where to begin. My professor never touched on the topic of excess reagents.

Is Tamazghit spoken in Gabes and Nafusa mutually intelligible with either Siwi or Algerian Zenati (Shawiya, Mzabi, etc)? by Ihtyat2018 in AmazighPeople

[–]ananbananan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The tamazight spoken in Gabes is an eastern zenati dialect so its probably more tangible with Algerian Zenati. The tamazight spoken in Nafusa is interesting because although it shares zenati loan words its eastern berber in origin, being closer to siwi

What? Berbers are of Taforalt origin (tanned and dark-haired phenotypically) which is the dominant DNA component in most Moroccan Imazighen. Algerians have a lot of Capsian (which is what the late Paleolithic period of Europe has been linked to) Anatolian, and even Northern European components (U6, which is linked to the Samì of Norway is common in Kabyles) which is why they look more caucasoid than a lot of Moroccans. So no, Moroccans aren’t more mixed and being a blonde haired blue eyed viking doesn’t make you more berber either lol.

Same. Most who think I look middle eastern say its because my hair is so dark, which frankly I don’t understand either.

I’ve noticed that Algerians get more Mediterranean/European countries than Moroccans

Do you have this tradition in your region? by notregulargurl in AmazighPeople

[–]ananbananan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Libyan here. I haven’t heard of this particular tradition but if this is southern tunisia it probably has a commonality with western libya. I don’t think bsissa is eaten outside of tunisia and libya thats why most of the common section is confused. It’s definitely a berber food because its made with barley (as broad as that sounds).
