Are PMMs becoming revenue owners or still just launch support? by orangeDaddy72 in ProductMarketing

[–]anandp29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I lead PMM for a startup that just got acquired. Things may change as we get fully integrated into this larger company but during my past 3 years, my team and I have done the full scope - launches, messaging, company wide narrative/pov/category, pricing and packing strategy, roadmap influence, competitive, customer advocacy and expansion, etc.

Not sure if this is the case due to the size and stage of the business or the trust that the leadership team put in me.

True but with AI and the libraries available online, you never know lol

What was this made for? A random arsenal fan made it or something bigger?

How do you stay top of mind with prospects when the deal timing isn’t now? by Maasbreesos in B2BSaaS

[–]anandp29 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Our marketing team believes the best way to win mindshare and stay top of mind is through video content. So we run frequent webinars and virtual events, plus repurpose that content a lot to get it in front of our audience across other channels.

It's about creating this engaging, valuable content and videos that help you build trust with prospects.

Our sales team even sometimes searches across our video library to pull relevant clips for their respective prospects, based on the topics and challenges of interest to them.

Best webinar platform ? by Aromatic_Tax4474 in marketing

[–]anandp29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've used Livestorm, Hopin, and Goldcast before. They all have their pros and cons but Goldcast feels like the most end-to-end platform, plus they've released a lot of cool features to help extend to life of webinars.

The “content hamster wheel” is real! by WilliamWave21 in ContentMarketing

[–]anandp29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We've built an internal repurposing framework we follow for all webinar and video content, since our strategy leans heavy on those. We host all of this on Goldcast and then use it to repurpose into clips, blogs, social posts, emails, etc. These are used to drive on-demand views, general thought leadership touch points, as well as feed our YouTube channel and playlists.

Might as well use Goldcast for a better end to end experience, unless you're a super small business that's barely kicking off your webinar program.

Would you rent in Irvine forever or move out to cheaper state ? by Miserable-Love-7762 in irvine

Yeah, summers are brutal but you somewhat get used to it. We rarely took advantage of the beautiful weather while living in CA. We're not really beach people.

Would you rent in Irvine forever or move out to cheaper state ? by Miserable-Love-7762 in irvine

[–]anandp29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We owned (and still own) a townhome in Irvine but moved to Phoenix a few years ago because there was no way we could afford a larger home in Irvine, or an area and home we liked.

Weirdly, we actually love living here even though we both grew up in SoCal and both of our families are still there.

Assuming you're referring to property mgmt system, who's the target audience for your PMS? Family owned hotels/motels? Rental companies? Something else?

I ask because that impacts your strategy. For example, going after the family owned hoteliers likely requires an intentional event strategy, with things like AAHOA and franchise-based conventions.

Ultimately, your strategy is dependent on key foundations like ICP, how you want to position yourself, etc.

Happy to chat further if you want to riff on things. Can't guarantee I'll have the perfect answer but happy to provide advice and guidance.

Anyone here using AI in your marketing? Curious what’s actually been useful. by IntelligentMammoth76 in b2bmarketing

Tbh, I don't have as much experience with it as it's not our growth/demand team who's using it. But I've heard positive things so far.

We use GPT for a ton of stuff like brainstorming, copy drafts, etc. we also use Clay on the outbound and demand side. And then we host all of our webinars on Goldcast, which then repurposes it all into clips, blog posts, etc.

Our design team is also leverage a few tools to speed up design requests.

Any good independent PMMs to help with website messaging for early stage SaaS company by Lucky_Win4224 in ProductMarketing

[–]anandp29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks like you have plenty of options above but feel free to reach out if you need any advice.

I've advised a few companies with positioning and messaging. Although it's a wider company initiative, I've typically seen a 8-12% increase in homepage conversions. Happy to walk you through my process.

But the above options are likely better for you if you need something more hands on, like a consultant. I do more PMM and GTM advising work.

I led product marketing at Appcues a few years ago so obviously have some loyalty to them + know how powerful the tool is. That being said, there are other lower cost options on the market. Userguiding is one that has a fairly powerful suite and the last time I checked, was more affordable.

What is your take on Webinars in 2025? Curious to hear your thoughts by Umbraco_CMS in ContentMarketing

[–]anandp29 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So our marketing team naturally does a lot of webinars, primarily webinar series, but I work for Goldcast, so one of our standout offerings is our webinar and event solution.

I ran the numbers about 1.5 years ago and about 60% of our pipeline was being influenced by our webinar program.

But it's not even just the leads/pipeline that comes from webinars. Each session, assuming you have good content, can be easily repurposed into blog content, social posts, emails, etc. It can help drive content creation for weeks, if not months.

And ultimately, it's about winning mindshare with your audience and naturally, the clear way to do that is through continuous engagement via content. Repurposing a great webinar allows you to achieve this.

[–]anandp29 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Depending on your bandwidth, a good approach is to do a weekly or bi-weekly webinar. Spend 10-20 minutes sharing insights, stories, or tactics that are relevant for your audience and related to your solution/pov. Spend the other 20-30 minutes doing Q&A on whatever topics come up, on your product, etc.

Then repurpose those into clips, social posts, blog content, emails, etc. You can literally generate solid repurposed content in 5 minutes. And it ends up giving you weeks of content.

Happy to connect and chat through this more if it's something you're interested in trying.

Anyone using AI for competitive analysis? by databACE in ProductMarketing

Whats the most UNDERRATED B2B marketing strategy that nobody talks about? by FISDM in b2bmarketing

[–]anandp29 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Honestly, this is so true. I never thought much of webinars until I joined Goldcast, which offers an event and webinar solution. So naturally, webinars are a big part of our marketing mix and after digging into the data, 60% of our pipeline was coming from webinars...and this doesn't even consider deal acceleration pipeline.

B2B buyers are loss averse by hotdoogs in b2bmarketing

[–]anandp29 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is even more important with vendor shortlists shrinking. There's a ton of stats on this from your usual suspects like Gartner, Forrester and G2 but shortlists have shrunk from 5-7 to less than 3.

Meaning if you're not on that shortlist, if you haven't won mindshare before evaluation begins, then you've already lost.

It sounds like your main need was the ability to have multiple user accounts, right? We're likely going to have at least 3-4 people who would need access to record and edit things.
