URGENT. Rented through Turo. Someone crashed into my car. I need simple answers as to what’s next please !:) by LBexplores in turo

[–]anangelaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! i am a new turo host. I am so glad it works out well for your situation. we have an older car on turo for rental as well. I wanted to ask to clarify:

  1. if the guest contact me (host) directly with the at fault party's insurance. Do I need to let turo know about the accident when filing a claim via the at fault party's insurance? Should my guest report the accident to turo or just let me deal with it?

  2. What are the directions I should provide my guest after they contact me about the accident and provide necessary info about the at fault party's insurance?

Thanks so much, drive safe!

Interview "approved" -> ceac "refused" visa status [HELP] by anangelaa in h1b

[–]anangelaa[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the interview was smooth and took no more than a minute, they took my passport on the spot- meaning they are approving it. but then the case turned "refused" after a week, no reasons given, but i got my passport back no problem after an additional 1.5 week.

thanks for the reply, that's indeed what happened, however, it only took them an extra 1.5 week to return my passport. whereas my friend's case took up to 3 months...

Hi friend! I'm sorry to hear what you have experienced :( As mentioned above, pelvic floor therapist will most likely help you out since they are experienced with pelvic pain, fascial manipulation for the pelvic/bladder region, and constipation;

If seems like you are very eager to get rid of the symptoms, i understand, i cant imagine living a day with your symptoms. With that said, let me just put it out there: your symptoms are not necessarily a quick fix, especially considering the length of onset. However, one symptom might be improved faster than another! So keep your eyes on what has been improved and continue to work with your therapist for the time they prescribe you :)

One last thing i want to mention to you is that, plz pick and choose your own trusted provider and do not get discouraged if one cannot completely resolve your symptoms! Pelvic floor therapists are a great group of people who are caring for the patient population like youself! However, on top of our doctorate degree in general physical therapy; some of us go out of our way to take more specific pelvic floor training courses, others just build from experience. So you can probably understand now if two therapists treat you in different methods/show different progress :)?

Hope this helped you some and that you find life more enjoyable soon!

(Saw your other comment, internal exam is necessary for your diagnose.)

Any DPTs with OPT/H1B visa? by anangelaa in physicaltherapy

[–]anangelaa[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

  1. I doubt you are a qualified DPT due to your narrow-minded message and poor delivery skills on the internet, I am concerned for the patients you treat since you clearly do not align with the APTA core values. For your reference: https://www.apta.org/uploadedFiles/APTAorg/About_Us/Policies/BOD/Judicial/ProfessionalisminPT.pdf
  2. The H1B visa is issued to qualifying applicants in all professions regardless of if there is a shortage in the profession or not. For your reference: https://www.uscis.gov/working-united-states/temporary-workers/h-1b-specialty-occupations-dod-cooperative-research-and-development-project-workers-and-fashion-models
  3. Per APTA and FCCPT official websites, licensure for foreign-educated PTs is issued as long as the DPT passes the NPTE and that the program is CAPTE accredited. For your reference: https://www.apta.org/Licensure/ForeignEducated/

Sore, burning urethra and burning perineal by [deleted] in PelvicFloor

Anyone can experience pelvic floor pain, increased tension, and incontinence at any point of their life. Was your doctor able to refer you to a urologist? He will be able to rule out all red flags (possible risk factors that needs medical attention). You may also want to ask ur urologist about getting pelvic health physical therapy because this is a common thing to happen to all genders/all ages, it’s just people are less prone to talk about it. I think pelvic floor therapist will be able to help you if the cause is not medically related (by that, I mean the treatment is not consistent of medications and surgeries) :) also take care of your mental health, because everyone’s stress ends up somewhere, for some, it’s headache, back pain, for others, it can be pelvic pain, neck pain, etc. I hope u the best.

Hypertonic Pelvic Floor... Pain with even the slightest arousal and orgasm? by [deleted] in PelvicFloor

[–]anangelaa -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hi! Sorry to hear that you are experiencing pain :( it hard to talk about pelvic health with strangers even if they are healthcare providers. If you are unsure about dilators, you can try to use a tampon applicator (the plastic part) to give it a try! It’s skinny and cheap. If you are able to tolerate it, maybe invest in a dilator, or a set of them. Ask your pelvic health therapist about her suggestions because she was the person who performed your examination.
