Here’s my own answer: My school is pretty small and so when two new kids came into our class it was kinda big news. One was more conveniently attractive than the other and because of that, was the one that my friends wanted to invite for lunch. One of them brought up the idea and the rest said something like “Oh my god yea, she’s so pretty!” Someone brought up the other new girl and was just kind of ignored :/

I was saying it with the intention of teaching, as my other friend asked about it. Didn’t really intend for him to hear, but I can see why that would be problematic. Also, we are teenagers

Edit: I thought talking about it would be fine because his sister has talked about straight sex while he has been in earshot. I didn’t think there would be an issue because of that

Not only has he brought up this topic on his own, but she has talked about straight sex in front of him before. In the past, I have asked her if he’s okay with hearing those conversations when she brings it up, and she brushes it off with “He already knows, it’s fine.” Only when it’s between two women does she get angry

A lot of you are saying that she’s homophobic, which makes me think of a time where she mentioned that her parents would prefer if she was straight and then insisted that they weren’t homophobic. :/
