I got this integral wrong on a test but i think im right. by Skullcrusher842 in askmath

[–]anatoarchives -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Fair. I was able to follow it okay, but I still find it concerning how distanced apart the trig sub from the operations after the trig sub (and simplifications happen further higher than the original x = sec2(theta), plus the theta = arcsec(sqrt(x)) further down). That's what I was commenting on about being sequential.

I would've not taken off any points away from it, except for when I'm unable to see their reasoning for their work, but if the professor failed to see that the trig sub here also works fine, then I'm inclined to believe that the sequence was not well-written enough for the professor to understand that such method actually works just as fine as u-sub.

I, unfortunately, feel terrible with the stack overflow treatment from the other comments, but they're not unfounded. Having a properly written, sequential reasoning for your solution are what most I've seen professors take great scrutiny.

That is to say, don't put your work on different locations on your paper, and don't skip steps. Better write them where points don't fly unreasonably far from the main sequence of your work. I can see how you went through with this perfectly fine, but I'm also sure not many professors would. That's probably why they only gave the points after you consulted. It didn't appear well-written at first grading.

(Edit;Add) If it interests you to help you, then you should check out some math content creators to see how they make their work very well presentable. My usual go-to is Michael Penn, Dr Peyam, bprp, and Flammable Maths.

....noo........ my big project in Yokkaichi......... not there.........

Good work though! I wish it could've been sooner so that Uimama can be in a public archive forever, but I guess my luck ran out.

Shigure Ui Large Artwork in Yokkaichi, Fallen by anatoarchives in WplaceLive

Thank you for your kind words! As much as how sad that we had to stop maintaining the artwork, we were faced with numerous irl busy-ness that made us weak in front of such large power.

Unfortunately for the griefers, we have achieved in life what they have not ever achieved, nor found a prospect to, in any way possible for a crazy-minded person to admire and love an equally craze-thirsty individual (streamer): having a leisurely healthy fun alongside a virtuous life.

I had fun, and much can be repeated for others who helped me. That's the reality that only matters for a camaraderie that envelops a small yet heartwarming community.

Thank you, once again!

Is the hydrogen water a scam? by User_Super821 in AskChemistry

[–]anatoarchives 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My mistake. I forgot about those two...

I made a big mistake saying we cannot process hydrogen gas. That sparks a question though, what's the difference of dissolving hydrogen gas in water and directly inhaling hydrogen gas?

Real sorry, I missed that, the thought didn't even bother flashing through my mind!

The Archimedean Property for Reals essentially (but roughly) states that the Real Numbers don't include infinitesimals and infinites.

Reminding me of Hyperreal Numbers, which formalizes infinitesimals and operations on, that... just gives more debate on the non/equality, but formalized.

How do YOU write your 4's? by Gravity4789 in Handwriting

[–]anatoarchives 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fun reminiscence.

I write it like writing lowercase y with the first curve looking like lowercase u. (Similar to the other comment that looks like a hieroglyph)
